The guided tour was in Spanish only, which was a huge disappointment. There was no information regarding this on the website. We paid 20 euros and didn't learn anything for two hours. The posters around the tower are also only in Spanish, pretty pictures, but alas, no english. There's also nada wifi for translation apps.

The tower was nice architecturally, beautiful. But there was such tight spaces and like 20 people, so we didn't really get to spend much time looking in each area before moving on.

In the middle of the tour they played some sounds and made a little light-show inside thr cathedral, would be nice if we actually saw something. There was actually not enough room for me and my partner, so we just stood there looking at all the phones of the other tourists.

If this tour is for Spanish speakers only...Why advertise in...

Worth every cent and step! This is a very special thing to do in Salamanca! Not only did we get incredibly beautiful views from the top of the tower, we got incredible views from several sides of the cathedral and into the cathedral! A lot of fun going in and out of doors to new views. Such a surprise to be high above the nave of the cathedral. Also a blast being scared by the ringing bells while right under them in the bell tower! There is a "traffic light" to keep people from having to pass each other in the winding staircase. The exhibits are very good too. The 1566 book on Aristotle...wow.

We booked our tickets on line for a timed entry and would recommend doing this as there were some groups...

The temple is a masterpiece BUT about the guided tour, nowhere on the site it is stated that the guided tour is only in Spanish, that it lasts 2 whole hours and that a good physical condition is required. It was not possible to choose the language of the tour and I was not given any information about it. Some of our group had to stay down while they had paid because they couldn't climb all those steps. Also we didn't all speak Spanish so some of us listened to Spanish non-stop for 2 hours without understanding anything. Great location, perfect lights and simulations but HUGE flaws...
