It's cute. I wouldn't call it a beautiful beach A 15-minute walk from the nearest bus station. So too bad if you didn't rent a car. It's impossible to bathe as the shore is so rocky we were afraid of cutting our feet in stones or worse. Could barely stand, couldn't get far enough to swim. Signs all around warn about how dangerous it is because of the rocks. The few people who did try to brave the rocks, very close to the shore, were pulled back by lifeguards. Yes, it's that dangerous. The beach is nice, but small. So yeah it doesn't get crowded. When we went, only one brunch bar was open. And most of the shops were closed. I would only...

This beach is surprisingly good for sonrkeling! We came just after the low tide, and it was great. There was an abundance of sea slugs! Literally hundreds of them! Mostly greyish with some white and some dark brown as well. Have also seen some starfish. Pretty big schools of parrot fish. Also the usual wrasses, and the black fish with violet fin tips that I don't know the name of yet as well. Also came across some scorpion fish...will add additional underwater photos as soon as I can sort them and edit the ones...

I lived on the beach and slept in a sleeping bag for a couple months in 1976 when there was no development there. Directly behind the beach was a tomato farm. A couple hundred metres or so back there was an adobe hut where a guy sold beer, wine, rum and coke. There was a small restaurant on the edge of the beach that was open in the afternoons. I washed dishes there for 300 pesetas a day, a sandwich and a half bottle of wine. I guess my review is a...

Our hotel was near this beach and I really wanted to like it more! It was very quiet. We wanted to get dinner near the beach but most places were deserted so we opted to walk to the boulevard of Playa de Maspalomas most night. Because it's in a bit of a bay area it does get less wind than Playa de Maspalomas. It might be more lively in early August/July! I do think it has a lot of potential.

Nice quiet beach with a solid number of restaurants and ice cream. All that you need is here. Only downside are stones - the beach is mix of stones and sand. Pretty ok during high tide but tricky during low tide. But TBH we ended up on this one each time we wanted to go to a beach on the south of the island - calm winds, sunset over the ocean + not crowded at all in february :)

Lovely beach and surrounding area. Beach itself is great and all the restaurants and bars are much higher quality than further along the beach heading towards Playa de Ingles. Boardwalk above the beach stretches past this beach as well so lovely to stroll along. Hotels along here also higher quality. Definitely my favourite beach and area along this stretch.
