This restaurant is situated right by the Playa de Meloneras with a close view of the beach and the sea. When we got here for lunch we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who asked us whether we would like to sit in the sunshine or the shade (we chose the sunshine) and then took our drinks order. He then came back and took our food order and was brilliant with me trying to order in my not quite fluent Spanish - I wanted to leave out the mussells from the paella but couldn't remember the Spanish word (it's mejillones!) They were happy to do a paella without mussells, no problem.

The paella we received was absolutely huge! The nice waiter came back with a trolley, a giant paella pan and two small plates and dished some up for us. It was gorgeous, flavourful and fresh - especially to me who is fussy when it comes to seafood! The prawns were especially good.

I'd recommend this place for a good lunch treat. Didn't take much of a look at the drinks menu as we just wanted water on a warm day, but I would recommend for the food, service, location and fair prices - the paella was very good value for money given how much was in it....

I won’t come back for sure. Nice place near the beach but there are much others also in the same place. Food is not specially good and service is awful. They were even rude with us. We asked them for a wine recomendation and they recommend us the wine Yaiza that one of us already knew about it and is 5€ the bottle in the market…. well 24€ for the bottle of wine… ridiculous.. and they didn’t even advice us about it, same for the fish, they offer us the fish of the day and we say ok, they pretend us to bring us fish of the day for three, good that we ask only for one person (because we wanted to try more things), they tell us several times that one portion was not enough for testing it the three of us… well when they bring us the bill at 22€ each portion we understand why they wanted us to ask for three portions…. In fact the food we order was enough for three, the portions are not big but the potatoes makes you be full. I of course dont recommend you to come here, not good service, not good food and price super super expensive. You can eat in a restaurant near that one for half of the price and...

We visited this restaurant twice - the very first and the very last day of our holiday. The first evening we had the fish of the day which is 5 euros - 100 grams on the menu. The meal was a full- size fish, nicely grilled for 22 euros/meal. The second time we ordered the same meal and that was only a half of the fish (portion was much much much smaller in size), but we thought that finally this meal will be cheaper, since the menu states that it is 5 euros/100 grams. Unfortunately, the bill was exactly the same as the first evening 22 euros per meal. This means that they do not weight the fish and also that they charge you 22 euros for a full and a half of the portion. We felt fooled and the last dinner of our trip was ruined. I do not recommend this place because of the risk of...

Situated right at the end of the promenade in Playa de Meloneras opposite the beach. We just called for a snack after a long cycle ride which is easy to access by the road down to the beach front. A largeish cafe/restaurant with covered outdoor seating overlooking the beach and sea or indoor if it's chilly. I had a Spanish omelette which was nice enough but nothing special and my partner had sizzling prawns which he said was average and slightly smaller compared to others he's had in the resort. He also ordered a garlic bread which I tasted and wasn't keen, although I couldn't tell you why, perhaps it was a cheap margerine/butter they used. Service was a little slow as we had to keep asking the waiter for everything ie. to take our order and to pay.
