The Jewelers Loupe — Attraction in Tías

Wow! Where do I start with THE most amazing experience that we had today here?! Firstly you are welcomed so very warmly. This was such a good start to our afternoon of shopping. There is no pressure to purchase unlike at many other jewellers on the island. The knowledge shared with us was fantastic regarding both watches and jewellery. We learned so much. This small but perfect business is owned by such a lovely couple, they really made us feel at home. We eventually chose a special edition Jaguar watch and two stunning rings. One of which needed re-sizing and this service is completed by the very next day. Fabulously fast service right?! The generous owner even cleaned my wedding rings for me whilst I relaxed for a while looking at their beautiful jewellery. Later in the day when collecting our goods from them (as we didn’t want to carry them around the shops) we had got caught in the rain and the husband and wife team here at this exceptional establishment helped to dry me off with towels, bought us both a hot latte/cappuccino from next door to warm us up (best coffee in Lanzarote by the way!), also gave us both a seat and the perfect ending was some cosy & warm cuddles with their new baby son Ryan who is just adorable. Oh and also offered to call us a taxi to take us back to our hotel. I would 100% recommend The Jewelers Loupe to family, friends and all who read this review. The service is incredible, the quality of goods are too and the prices are so very reasonable. This has now become my favourite holiday jewellers and I will return time and time again and with pleasure. So please if you’re in the area, pop in, you will not regret it. Purchased my engagement ring here in Jewelers Loupe. We were very happy with the experience, customer service and my ring. However, after returning home, we found that the stone setting is loose. I have had it looked at by a few jewellers at home and the authenticity of the ring is in question. What I believed/was sold to be an 18 kt gold ring, I have been told it is 14 kt at best. Although I still love my ring, I am disappointed to now have a fault with it and possibly not real gold. It is going to cost me to have it repaired and valued.

In response to your reply - as I cannot send a reply, only update my review. Firstly, you did not show us any hallmark stamp and certainly did not show us a 750 stamp because the hallmark is 576 on it!!! I am happy to send on photos to show this. Please do not write lies on my review. And the “certificate” that you mention, is a handwritten card by yourself, which allows you to write anything on it. Please advise me how your “aftercare” works as mentioned I do not reside in Lanzarote. I am disappointed with your response...

We called into the jewelers loupe after reading other reviews about a ring removal and I can’t recommend this place enough. My wife’s wedding and engagement ring were stuck on her finger and we’d accepted the fact they would need cutting off. However after visiting this place we were told it could be removed without cutting using a technique. Whilst we weren’t convinced the lady in the shop was confident in her ability.
