L’Umbracle Terraza — Attraction in Valencia

Before we even got inside the club, we saw a long line of people to get in. It was absolutely insane! But we walked to the club entrance and asked the Umbracle staff what to do. They said you had to queue if you didn't have a ticket, and with an online ticket, there were a few people in another queue, so we were in within 5 minutes. I was there with a friend on Thursday 2nd week of September. The entrance online price was 26€/person included a free drink (inclusive cocktails) Prices are not that expensive it is a good price, 4€ for a soft drink. Location and interior was beautiful! It seems the club is open daily from midnight till 7:00am Note that club Mya is not the same as Umbracle but at 2:00am they are connected and you can go everywhere. The toilets are at the connected area, you have to take the stairs to -1. Not all the Staff speak English well, but they are very helpful. At my opinion, the club needs to invest in air fans because sometimes it was very hot in there. Club Mya had two DJ rooms. I've been to many clubs in my life, I can't forget this one! 5 stars Also because the rooms were filled with people, you don't see that...

We were genuinely looking forward to visiting this club after seeing so many positive clips about it on TikTok. We had free entry tickets through Erasmus and arrived approximately 30 minutes before 1:00 a.m. While we could have come earlier, the queue barely moved, it was obvious they were deliberately holding it up so that, by the time you reached the entrance, you would be charged. We reached the ticket scanning point at 1:02 a.m., only to be told we had to pay €21. We decided to leave. We might have considered paying if the staff’s attitude had been better, but the whole situation felt like a calculated tactic to force payments. Meanwhile, the line for guests without Erasmus tickets moved much faster, and they ended up ahead of us at the scanners. In my opinion, this is a poor business practice that drives customers away rather than attracting them. We weren’t the only ones disappointed, many people around us had the same experience and left. Overall, it felt unprofessional...

Vorrei condividere un episodio spiacevole accaduto recentemente all’ingresso di questo locale, perché certe situazioni andrebbero gestite con tutt’altra professionalità e rispetto verso le persone.

Dopo una lunga fila, siamo arrivati al controllo documenti: eravamo in tre, io, un mio amico e una nostra amica. Poco prima, un membro dello staff ci aveva chiesto se fossimo insieme, e noi avevamo risposto di sì. Nonostante questo, nel momento del controllo, la nostra amica è stata fatta entrare senza problemi, mentre io sono stato fermato per via dei pantaloncini che indossavo — un paio di Jordan sportivi, di lunghezza poco sopra il ginocchio.

L’addetto alla sicurezza mi ha squadrato dall’alto al basso con atteggiamento decisamente sgradevole e mi ha detto che non sarei potuto entrare con quel tipo di abbigliamento, invitandomi a “tornare a casa a cambiarmi”. Ho provato a spiegare che venivo da lontano e che non sarebbe stato possibile rientrare in tempo, ma l’unica risposta è stato un gesto verso l’uscita e uno sguardo carico di disprezzo.

A quel punto, il mio amico, che era subito dietro di me, è stato controllato a sua volta. Anche lui inizialmente non è stato fatto entrare, ma nel frattempo la nostra amica era già dentro. Abbiamo dovuto urlare per farci sentire e aggiornarla su quanto stava succedendo. Dopo un momento di confusione, il mio amico ha deciso di uscire con me per non lasciarmi solo, e proprio in quel momento ci è stato detto chiaramente che, se avessimo provato a rientrare più tardi, non ci sarebbe stata nessuna possibilità di entrare di nuovo.

Trovo inaccettabile che, nel 2025, si entri ancora nei locali sulla base di giudizi soggettivi sull’abbigliamento e, peggio ancora, con modalità tanto arroganti e irrispettose. Un eventuale dress code dovrebbe essere segnalato chiaramente prima, magari in fase di prenotazione o attraverso i canali ufficiali del locale. Invece qui siamo stati giudicati, divisi e trattati con sufficienza, nonostante fossimo stati del tutto educati e rispettosi.

Mi dispiace sinceramente per come si è svolta la serata, soprattutto perché non ero lì per bere o per “fare casino”, ma semplicemente per passare una bella serata con i miei amici. La maleducazione, però, non ha giustificazioni, e chi lavora a contatto col pubblico...
