The restaurant is in a great location, right by the beach. The menu is fantastic. What I don’t like, however, is that the prices displayed on the board outside are different from the actual prices. For example, it says squid is €14 per person, but once you sit down and get the real menu, the price is actually €20 per person.
The price is justified, even though the portion size is relatively unsatisfying for a man. For me, a portion of grilled squid and a portion of roasted potatoes (total €32) was fine and satisfying, but for a man, it might not be enough. The grilled squid is absolutely delicious — I’ve tried squid in at least 20 different restaurants, and this one is among the best. In other places, it’s usually served with a side dish, but here it comes only with mayonnaise and squid, which could be seen as a small downside. For a proper meal with a drink (if you’re a woman), you’ll need at least €40.
One situation I found funny was when the bill was €57 — I left €72 and told the waiter to bring me €10 back, that the rest was for him. He thanked me, but didn’t come back with the change for the next 10 minutes, so I had to go ask for it. When I did, he just laughed and said, “Haha, I’ll bring it,” without an apology or anything. The service is definitely not great, except for the hostess who was...
Read moreWe ended up going to this bar/restaurant twice to watch the F1 (with no sound), the second time confirmed the first visit...
We didn't eat so can't comment on that, but the service here is poor, we had to order drinks 3 times, the waiters aren't at all friendly, when they serve you they hold the glasses with their fingers on the rim of the glass where you drink from, this is after theyve just been cleaning tables.
The only reason we went there the second time was to watch the F1 knowing it wasn't great, we had asked 3 times for the bill, it seemed impossible to leave, we actually started to walk out so we could pay, there were 6 waiters a d only 5 tables with customers.
The place is a joke, it would seem the manager/owner working there sets the tone which he's obviously happy with, it's...
Read moreFor the past couple of years, I've been coming to this place to play pool, and despite the good memories, I find myself visiting less frequently. The staff has become increasingly intolerant of me bringing my electric scooter inside and calmly placing it in a corner near the pool table, despite the fact that this was not an issue for them in the past. Additionally, there have been more frequent instances of pool balls going missing, which disrupts the game. I would visit this place more often if these issues were addressed, as it's one of the few spots in the Las Arenas area of Valencia where you can enjoy a great atmosphere playing pool with friends, along with good...
