We came here during lunch. Pretty busy with lots of people, so we patiently waited in line for a table. The table that we got was a short table (ones used for having a coffee) and we sat in a cut up bathtub having lunch. It was a bit uncomfortable but we agreed on staying because the reviews were really good. The waitress gave us the QR-code for the menu and took the order of our drinks. After that we sat there for at least 20 minutes or more, without anyone noticing us, asking to take or order (because they were "busy"), but they helped new customers who came into the restaurant. I’ve been working as a waiter myself, and I know how it is on busy days, but if you can’t have a system where waiters have their own stations and look for their own tables, then it gets chaotic. And the restaurant wasn’t that big either, with three people working. Another waitress apologized after finally noticing us and we told her no worries because it was busy. We ordered patatas bravas, their chorizo hot dog and a pistachio pizza. The tapas was good, but the pistachio pizza was tasteless. There were no flavors whatsoever, it was like eating a cooked dough with lots of oil and ruccula. It didn’t get near the other pistachio pizzas we’ve tasted. Overall we got disappointed despite reading the...

Really nice little restaurant in Cabanyal which we visited on the recommendation of others and glad we did. We went on a Friday and would recommend booking beforehand. Seating available inside the restaurant and also on the small terrace outside. The menu was split into 3, with dishes from Spain, France and Italy. We tried the trio of sardines which were very nice, the vegetable croquetas also really good and cooked perfectly. The Iberian salad was elegant and tasty, and the house pizza was excellent. I wish I had taken photos on the night, but was too eager to tuck into the food! Do bear in mind that the portions are tapas sized mostly, so don’t expect massive plates. The restaurant also has a really nice drinks menu, and everything was reasonably priced. Staff were really friendly, helpful and bilingual. All in all, will definitely visit again and...

La Cabanyaita is one of those places you stumble into and immediately feel lucky to have found. The service is super friendly and fast—like they’ve worked in a fancy restaurant before but decided they’d rather just make people happy in a cozy local spot.

The food is excellent. Everything tastes homemade, fresh, and full of flavor. You can really pick up on the mix of influences—French, Italian, and of course, Valencian. It all comes together beautifully. And the sardinias? Absolutely worth the trip alone. Just order them. You won’t regret it.

It’s the kind of bar where you can drop in for a quick tapa or settle in for the night with friends, good wine, and a table full of small plates. Simple, authentic, and full of heart.

For me a 9.5 out of 10! Would do it...

what can i say - it’s one of the best places i have visited in whole Spain! i’ve been to many places, but this cozy place with tapas will make me remember Cabanyal forever 💚💚💚 First of all, we were welcomed warmly and offered a table which is rare without making reservations in advance. it’s good we came a little earlier 😄 Secondly, Food was 🤤 delicious. I highly recommend Tuna Tataki. i wasn’t a fan of tuna before, but now i want Tataki everyday, seriously. Burrata salad was very good and really nice pesto in it. Trio Sardines 🔥🔥🔥 must try as well! Couldn’t resist trying their homemade desserts, so we ordered cheesecake. It melts in your mouth, yummy 😋 Thirdly, i really enjoyed the atmosphere. very comfy 🙌

Absolutely amazing tapas. Everything was really really good. I can especially recommend the tuna and the baked Camembert. Everything tasted really fresh and lively, nothing was boring and everything had a nice twist too it. Even the soya for the tuna was amazing, not your standard supermarket soya I suppose. We also had an agua de Valencia which was also really good, and they weren’t cheap on the alcohol either. Only small minus was the vegetable croquettes. They were OK. Cooked really well with a nice crunch but they just felt a bit overshadowed by the other great stuff on the table. Will definitely come back, I need to try the tuna!

We went here a couple of times now and each time it was almost surprisingly good. It's a lovely place with very nice food, wines, and service! They have some different things than the most places with the usual tapas, like pasta a la norma, excellent ravioli with truffle, and nice pizzas on different kind of crispy bread and even a super delicious tataki of tuna. Often such a mixed menu spells disaster, but not here. Delicious deserts (we tried tiramisu, cheese cake and pancakes so far). The chef knows what he/she is doing and even with the full house they had yesterday the team made sure everything was running smoothly.
