Museo Patio Herreriano — Attraction in Valladolid

Amazing building almost entirely devoid of art. The few pieces it had were badness of the kind done by school-age art students. I walked around the whole enormous building and was out again in 20 minutes. A complete curatorial failure basically - so much potential in the space missed. It could at least be filled with new works donated by Spanish artists from across the country to showcase them. Might be worth a visit in 200 years once it’s filled up but not worth the special trip right now. The best thing about it...

Great exhibition of vivian maiers work, she is in almost every image in some way shape or form. Some selfies, some reflections, some haunting some not, she plays well with the available light and she is inventive with her creations. She atarted experimenting with film and there are a few reels on show, pwrfectly capturing a different...

Está vacío. Metros y metros de pared sin nada entre cuadro y cuadro, tres pisos y nueve salas con poquísimo contenido, en poco más de una hora terminas. Incomprensible cuando obras tienen para aburrir. Agradezco que sea gratuito porque me hubiese sentido un poco estafado.

Y añadir que la tienda es insulsa, no es que haga falta una impresora de reproducciones como en museos de alto nivel, pero ya me dirán qué pinta un libro sobre cómo quitarle los pañales a un bebé cuando tienen dos láminas y los típicos libros de referencia.

Por favor, que se pongan las pilas los responsables porque una de las atracciones turísticas de Valladolid es altamente decepcionante.

También me gustaría saber qué pinta el horror de estatua del emérito y su esposa que hay en el patio...
