There's much to say about the hotel, mixed feelings really. It's a great location, not too close to the airport, where most of the hotels are. Playa Blanca too is very touristy. You definitely need a car to get around. The best thing is parking is free - we only came across one place where parking was not free, however it was very nominal. The entrance to the hotel is grand, with a view to the pools and then the ocean beyond. We were greeted by a very friendly Manu (short for Manuel) If you'd like to have dinner at their restaurant, booking is advised! We were not able to dine on on any of the days because it was fully booked. There is the buffet option, but we didn't go for it. One thing that really surprised me how late b'fast starts which is 8am. Most places I've been to have an early start mostly 7am. The rooms are spacious and the mini bar is refilled with juice every day. I think all the rooms have a pool view - ours certainly did. Everything is really well maintained and clean. Loads to chose for at breakfast so you're sure to be satisfied. The pool-side is really nice too. We spent an afternoon there. It's never too busy. Live singing is organised every evening - and I must say, the singing is TERRIBLE! They ought to find some good singers. Now more of the not so good stuff - we somehow found the place to lack natural light. One side of the room just did not have any lights. We felt the lack of light everywhere, even though it's so open. Cleaning of the rooms is pretty basic - on one say we forgot to take off the do not disturb, so the room was not cleaned, and they do not offer on-demand cleaning. Throughout the 4 day stay, the beds were never completely made with the cushions and counterpane - these remained on the sofa untouched. And the live music - really could do with uplifting. Service is a 3 star because I had to wait almost 30mins one day for an iron! But these are the minor things, and should not stop anyone from enjoying the hotel and facilities. Moreover, we liked the all adults aspect.

When you first arrive the hotel looks beautiful, the public areas are spacious with lots of places to sit and relax. Check in was quick and the room clean. We stayed for 7 nights B&B and the breakfast buffet served between 8-10 was of a decent hotel buffet standard, nothing unpleasant and never too busy. The basic level room was a good size and had everything you needed, a free safe and free WiFi. The air conditioning was good once you could work it as it was quite dated and convoluted. Sadly there was a lack of powerpoints in our room, one by the desk and only one next to the bed, which left the other person frustratingly lacking charging points. The two shops inside the hotel were rarely open and the two bars while cheap didn't have the best entertainment. The pool area is big enough for the hotel's demographic and appeared clean. The hotel is adult only which did mean it felt very quiet, a bit too quiet for me and I'm 60. The biggest drawback is the hotel's location, it's lovely and quiet, but at least 30 mins walk to the first decent beach and about an hour to the one at Playa Dorada. Playa Blanca is about 45 mins slog in the heat. The 30 bus is every 30 mins and is €1.40 and takes 15 mins. A taxi cost about €4.50 and can either be flagged down on the main road or booked, the hotel didn't seem keen to do that. On the return journey they were easier to get in Playa Blanca, however we never left late at night. All in all it's a nice hotel, a bit quiet and definitely away from most amenities.

Our third visit to this hotel - the others being winter breaks. It was rumoured that the hotel is to close in January for a few months for a total refit and although there are areas which could do with a refresh, I hope the ground floor area keeps it's stunning WOW impression with the wide open space and greenery. a lovely place to sit and have a drink.||Rooms: We opted for the premium room with a sea view and were generally happy. A large room on the top floor (1308) Right next to the lift but were not disturbed by noise. There was lots of wardrobe space and plenty of hangers. Sadly as is often the case these days, no chest of drawers, only a few shelves in the wardrobe. One of these too high for me to reach and one taken up with the safe (free to use which is a nice touch) Underwear, socks, swimsuits, pyjamas etc for two people, therefore crammed in. There was lots of space for a chest of drawers. The bed was lovely and comfortable, a change for me as usually they are far too hard. It felt like a good quality memory foam mattress. |A nice walk in shower - necessary for those of us who struggle to climb in and out of a bath tub. Nice toiletries in dispensers - shower gel and shampoo/conditioner in the shower and hand wash and hand lotion by the wash basin. The toilet flush was not very good and often needed several goes to get rid of the "evidence". Not very good for water conservation. We found the towels big enough and thick enough to do the job. As a larger lady I appreciated the coverage of the bath towel. Adequate tea tray but I do wish they would supply mugs instead of cups and saucers! |The aircon seemed to be centrally controlled and was not up to the job. We had high temperatures during our stay and despite stripping the bed to just one sheet, were very hot during the night. Not a problem we've had during our January stays.|Our balcony was very small but pleasant to sit and enjoy the view over the pools to the sea|The TV in the room had very few channels in English and no indication as to channel numbers. We requested a sheet from reception but this was very much out of date and was totally inaccurate||Food/dining: Not quite up to the standard of previous years Plenty of choice but the meat and fish could have been of a higher quality, The soups and the desserts were always good though. Always a good selection at breakfast. The only disappointment there was the drinks. The fruit juices had an artificial flavour and the fresh smoothies were generally quite bland|The chairs are very heavy and difficult to move when seated. More often than not I had to move the table!|We had lunch in the pool bar a couple of times. Nice tasty food and a good choice on the menu|We were sorry that the a-la-carte option is closed. We would have liked to splash out a bit for our 54th wedding anniversary. Hopefully this can be re-thought during the re-fit.|Lastly we noticed that the dress code - mainly for men has lapsed. Most of the ladies had dressed up for the evening but, whilst dress shorts with a shirt are a good option for the warmer evenings, it seemed that a good proportion of the blokes had just come in from the pool with scruffy t shirts, scruffy shorts and flip flops. Not very 4star!|Entertainment: Very good indeed. Although a lot of the evening shows were more directed at the older audience (Queen, Abba, Mo Town to name a few) I noticed the younger people were also enjoying the music. There was one night with a young lady singing "middle of the road" stuff which was not to our taste and a young couple who were very poor but we really enjoyed everything else|Pool area: Some tiling in the pools needs re-doing. Quite a few missing and broken. Nice new sunbeds which adjust from lying flat to sitting upright. Not enough umbrellas, which are often tricky to put up with arthritic fingers. Any sun beds with umbrellas were "reserved" from very early on by the put your towel out and return hours later brigade - my personal bugbear. If the hotel has a policy stating that this is not allowed - ENFORCE IT. | One suggestion would be to provide a ramp from the gate down to the promenade to make this easier for those of us with walking aids /mobility scooters/ wheelchairs|Staff: Special mention to Erwan, who seems to do everything. Maitre D in the restaurant, sports, evening entertainment MC. Also a shout out to the cleaners and maintenance staff - our room and the rest of the hotel and grounds were spotless. The dining room staff kept the turnover of tables going really well and there was never a wait for a table. Tea and coffee were delivered quickly at breakfast and orders for drinks with dinner arrived often before we'd had our starters.|All in all not a bad job. Hopefully we will return to see the end result...

Well where do I begin, this hotel is just amazing but what makes it so wonderful are the staff who are just so friendly and helpful they work so hard to make it a holiday to remember for every guest, the hotel runs like clock work but this is due to the most amazing manager Sabina and her assistant Caroline thank you for all you do. Let's start with our arrival we arrived quite late but Katazyna was there with an ice cold glass of Cava and check in was done very quickly we always book direct with the hotel and this visit was for 28 nights, Katazyna is so lovely and also very proficient at her job and she always had time for a chat which was so lovely. Once booked in we went to our room to freshen up and then we went to the dining room where a cold buffet was waiting which was lovely and really appreciated. All the reception staff are nice a a big shout out to Carlos who once again did a fantastic job of sorting out our next visit in October he really is a wonderful gentleman who also has a big smile on his face and nothing is too much trouble. We were in room 1023 which had a lovely view and was perfect for David. The bedroom was beautiful and the bed was so comfy, the bathroom was very clean with a wonderful walk in shower with a power shower plus lovely toiletries were in the shower and by the wash area. When you arrive there is always bottled water, orange juice and fresh fruit in your room plus a jar of aloe vera gel, there is also tea, coffee and milk which is replaced once used once again everything re our bedroom was just fantastic. We would like to say a big thank you to the house keeping staff who do a wonderful job our room was immaculate every day if fact the entire hotel is immaculate inside and out it truly is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at we just love it so much. We always stay half board because the food is just incredible breakfast is wonderful so much choice every day and wonderful chefs at cooking stations preparing delicious omelette and eggs bacon along with other things, there are also many other hot dishes plus fresh fruits and yogurts and wonderful pastries there are many drinks from Cava, fresh juices to freshly prepared yogurt smoothies. Fresh coffee and hot milk or tea is brought to your table or you could use the fresh coffee machines which had a variety of coffee's to choose from. Before I start with dinner let me give a big thank you to the wonderful team in the dining room Alba and Jose who run the restaurant are both amazing they make sure everything is perfect. All the other staff in the restaurant work so very hard and they really look after all the guests we would like to mention a few staff who really did give 110 % they are Luis, Santiago, NIco Issac and Lia. Now onto the wonderful food prepared everynight by a team of excellent chefs who prepare dishes for everyone's tastes there was so much choice we were there for 28 days and you could find something different every day. We loved Canarian night on Wednesday but our favourite night was Gala night which was out of this world especially the seafood selection infact every day the food was so amazing. The bar's were really nice too we used the pool bar every day which was so nice sitting and looking over to Futurventura and sipping Sangria the staff once again were so friendly a big shout out to Diego who was so good at leading his team also we would like to say thank you to the pool bar staff who were lovely especially Carlos Fatima and Katia. We also had many visits to Marea Bar which we loved so much we use to sit and look at the beautiful view sipping a nice glass of Rioja. The gardens and pool area were so well kept and the new sun loungers were so comfy we thought the pool lifeguard Reuben was so good he always said Hola and he was so good at his job. To round our review up the Natura Hotel is truly an amazing hotel and we wouldn't stay anywhere else we will continue to return time and time again. We are so looking forward to our next...

We had our second stay at the Natura Palace Hotel 10 nights from 21 April - 1 May 2022. A wonderful stay , as our previous stay the hotel is very very clean wherever you go in the hotel, there is a small army of maids and cleaners who work extremely hard in the early Morning before residents come for breakfast to ensure a very high standard is maintained. The rooms both standard and premium are a good size and all with a balcony many overlooking the gardens or pool area but with fabulous sea views across to Ferventura 8 km distant. All staff are friendly, helpful and professional , any questions help is always forthcoming. Two beautiful pools and a spa pool with a bar and outside dining area shaded or in the sun . The pool bar restaurant is excellent if you want to stay within the hotel. Food from €5 to €18 for fresh fish of the day ask what it happens to be , the sole is superb, but the Angus Burger fills a big hole , a great area to spend an hour or so taking in the views. The Breakfast is fantastic from porridge to cold meats salami, fish , bacon, eggs ,sausage fresh fruit , jams a large assortment of breads and croissants, coffee, tea and juices and much more. Evening Dinner is superb, fish , shellfish , meats , poultry. Note there is a large vegan section with plenty to choose from. The round desert table is nothing short of spectacular a very large choice. There is something for everyone breakfast or dinner. After dinner one floor up to the lounge bar there is nightly entertainment changing daily a lovely area to sit have a drink or a coffee whilst being entertained. The reception staff will go out of there way to help but always with smile they offer services from booking a taxi to booking excursions of which there are numerous options an well worth the minimal cost. It might be fair to say this hotel is probably more suited to a little more mature age group it is wonderfully laid back relaxed and without doubt chilled , and of course no children. The Natura Palace Hotel Playa Blanca Lanzarote, is an outstanding hotel in all respects , we are looking forward to our next stay . For anyone looking for peace quiet and tranquility this hotel is well worth consideration. Charles and Kay Dawkins 21/04 - 1/05 2022 Many thanks to ALL the staff who make this hotel run the way it does ,...
