I have been coming to Sulimay’s Salon in Manayunk for many years. From mens and ladies haircuts to special occasion hairdos to makeup and color—they do it all. I look forward to my appointments with Ashley as a highlight of my month. Whatever I ask, Ash will listen and consult me with her vast knowledge. I am always thrilled with the results - colors and cuts and styles. Also incredible makeup. All of the stylists are friendly and talented. Through the years, I have gotten styled and blown-out by Cara and Nancy and Shayla and Jacklyn in addition to Ashley — all are experienced artists who listen and deliver just what you are looking for. My salon in Florida helped me find this salon as I was stopping in Philadelphia for a wedding on the heels of a 2+ week away from home. I knew I’d be in desperate need of color. First of all, every time I called the salon they were super friendly and accommodating. More importantly - I am thrilled with the results of my visit. Phia did a great job with my color (I have resistant gray and she did a thorough job getting it covered) followed by a blow out. I visited Sulimay's for the first time yesterday for an extremely overdue cut/partial highlights and Claire did a phenomenal job. I hadn't cut my hair in over 3 years since moving back to Philly, largely due to fear of trying a new stylist, but Claire put my mind at ease. She was personable, easy to talk to and kept my goals in mind while providing new ideas and suggestions. Don't let her fresh face or age fool you, the girl has serious talent!
