I visited this restaurant for the first time around 7:40 PM after placing a pickup order online. When I walked in, I said, ‘Hey, I’m here to pick my order up.’

The guy who greeted me responded by shouting ‘HELLO!’ while waving his hand. He did it again, and I looked behind me, thinking he was talking to someone else, but there was no one there. When I looked back at him, he repeated the same thing. Finally, I said, ‘Hey,’ and that’s when he told me I should have greeted him differently.

It felt extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I decided to leave the food there and walk out because of how uncomfortable the encounter was. I hope management addresses this kind of behavior.

Edit: I found out that the restaurant recently changed from 'Smiley Cafe' to 'Blu Zone' under new management. The new management seems to have brought a rude and disrespectful attitude, so if you're coming here expecting the same great service from the old 4.7-star establishment, adjust your expectations. It's not the same...

Food was fresh, delicious, and fairly priced. Beware of the pickled jalapeños if you are sensitive to spicy food.

Both their beef gyro and falafel were the best I’ve ever had. Please keep in mind that I don’t even like meat and I’ve been struggling with anorexia for decades. So it’s very difficult for me to eat anything unless it’s super fresh and extraordinarily tasty. This place is a true gem and treasure.

Service was outstanding, The owner-host made us feel immediately welcomed and at ease. She let us customize our order and was very prompt with our food. She was very knowledgeable about the ingredients they use, as well.

The seating area is small, but that is to be expected in this area.

Overall, this was by far our favorite restaurant to visit in the...

I’ve lived in the area my entire life, and even though I’m not as frequent on Main Street as I used to be, Smiley’s is, and forever will be, a gem out of all the restaurants on the block!

My family and I were thinking of this place recently and decided to pick up lunch, and the beef gyro platter and chocolate bliss smoothie were exactly as I remembered it 7 years ago when we first stopped by at their old location; flavorful, filling, and fresh (same with the beef gyro sandwich, but that’ll be for next time)! Both owners are lovely and always so kind, and asked my family how they were when picking up our order.

Smiley’s holds a special place in my heart and next time in the area again, they’ll be seeing...

Smiley and his family are some of the kindest people you will ever meet, and they make some of the best food you will ever eat! I had the absolute pleasure of eating at Smiley’s today and chatting with the friendly family. I’ve had a lot of falafel in my day, this was hands down THE BEST falafel sandwich I have ever had, and it was HUGE! The pita was fresh made and so delicious, the toppings and falafel bags were perfect, and the tahini was so flavorful! They also make incredible smoothies! Everything is priced very affordable and the portions were huge. Please support this small family owned business!!!!

I am super disappointed in my first experience here. I was so excited for a local Greek salad, and the pictures looked amazing, but this is a total let down. There was no feta cheese on the salad, no olives on it, very overpriced for what I got (see pictured, this cost $11.79 plus taxes and fees). I called them to inquire about my order, maybe I was sent the wrong salad, but I went through to voicemail. I left a message with my name, number, and inquiry, but I never heard back. Poor customer service on top of the weak salad.

We’ve been coming to Smiley’s (now Bluzone) for several years since moving to Philadelphia, and the food and service have always been great. Unfortunately, since the transition to Bluzone, the quality has noticeably declined. We used to love the strawberry lemonades, but what we got this time was mostly unblended ice with just a bit of lemonade filling the gaps—gone after about five sips. Sadly, it’s not worth the money, and I can no longer recommend what used to be our favorite spot on Main Street.
