First time visit a couple of weeks ago for Friday happy hour. We checked out the inside to decide if we wanted to sit in there or outside - typically local bar/pub feel with high tops and long bar seating, tvs around the bar area, etc. Because the weather was ok, we decided to sit outside at the wooden tables. We're helped immediately and given the run down on the happy hour specials, which is the reason we came there. Long Island were one of the drinks so we both got that in a strawberry flavor for the first round, a long with some tequila shots. Long Islands were STRONG and mixed very well for the strawberry round we had - we eventually ordered a second round of regular Long Islands that were also made well. Food wise, we initially ordered Mozzarella Sticks, Mac & Cheese Bites and Buffalo Shrimp. Least favorite was the Mac and Cheese Bites - thinking if there was a different sauce pairing then what it came with (tasted like honey mustard) if would've probably been better. Our favorite was the Buffalo Shrimp - it tasted so good! Saucy but not too much, good taste to the sauce - I don't think every buffalo sauce tastes the same - nice crunch to it, good size like jumbo shrimp and good portion on the app. We liked them so much we ordered another basket of them lol. The Mozzarella Sticks were also really good - crispy, tasty and also good portion for an appetizer. Liked the place that's a good happy hour and game watch place. Plan to check them out again.

Stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon shortly after 4 PM. Old local / neighborhood bar and restaurant vibe. Waiter was very nice he was just not efficient / on top of things. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Buffalo wings are on the small side but cooked very well / crispy and the hot sauce was also very good. 3 crabs and fries for $15 is a great price. Crabs were cooked well / not over cooked and had just the right amount of old bay on them. Both the draft and bottled beer selection was limited I tried two drafts neither were good. Lines may need to be cleaned. All in all, good stop and we’ll be back.

I'd forgotten all about Bayou, but was so glad I stopped in! Looking for a place to eat with a friend on a Sunday, and decided to eat at Bayou. The setting was so chill. Once I stepped in I had forgotten how much I loved Bayou when I was in college. Had some really good conversations at the bar. There's a lot of indoor seating and the owner was friendly when taking our order. We ate outside to enjoy some of the summer weather. My wings and fries were average as was my drink, but all in all great night out. Would definitely go back.

What can I say? The service here as terrible. They started us off with chips and salsa, but forgot the salsa, after asking twice we gave up. The first drink water weak, the second one was good but the glass full to the top with ice. For 8 bucks a drink they really need a better balance. It was more like a shot than anything.

On to the food. My date ordered the pulled pork, and specifically asked if we could get flour tortillas with that, the waitress had to ask, and returned with ask yes verdict. The plate was distributed to us without the the tortillas, we asked the server for them, and she said sure, and waited, and waited. The waitress returned and we asked again, and waited and waited, finally she returned and said we don't normally do that, however the manager said we could this time. How hard is it to add flour tortillas the a meal? It isn't rocket science. This place really was below my expectations.

I ordered the burrito, I asked what sides do the hey have, and the waitress replied oh the burrito was pretty large you probably won't need any sides with that order. Why would waitress down play an additional sake?

The manager we belive to have been on duty was eating register or the waitress station right next to us in front of all to see as well for all to see instead of using a break area.

The name and cuisine is what attracted us however this establishment does not live up to the initial hype we had for it.

Bad service. Bad attenditivenes. Unbalanced drinks. Bad management. The food actually tasted good, thanks goes to the chef for that one!

Where to start… I hate being excited to try a new place and being extremely let down. Went here for “Happy Hour” and it was nothing happy about it.

The heat was NOT on. We had to keep our coats on the whole time. ONE server for the entire establishment. She was also the bartender. Other workers were just running in and out the kitchen but no one came back to our table to offer water even. After 10 mins I had to get up and go to the bar to get the attention of the server. There was a couple that was already seating we were arrived and no one had been to their table either. They ended up walking out. We ordered a so called Tokyo tea that literally just tased like iced tea - not a once of liquor. For $15 we expected some more. We sent those back and just got a beer and ginger ale (that tasted watered down). The food took forever to come out (over 30 mins) and nothing came out together. Two cheap paper plates were put down in front of us (like pizza slice plates smh). We received the cold fries first. Then after another 10 mins some wings - one of which was just old bay on top of hot sauce. After another 10 mins we received potstickers that were clearly frozen. One was still frozen on the middle - sent that back. The onion rings came out last (after another 10 mins) super dark and border line burnt. One item we ordered never came out. The bill comes and it still have the 2 drinks on there that we sent back ($30) smh The bill was corrected. The food did not sit well in my stomach and I was in the bathroom all morning the next day. Maybe it was an off night, but we...
