Lund Art Museum — Attraction in Burlövs kommun

We visited this little art museum last Thursday when it's open late. There was parking available 50 m away and entrance is free. I came here for the first time when the museum was inaugurated in 1957 and has since been back numerous times but not since the 1970-ies. What is the most impressive is that it has aged so well with its original features still on display. This summer the museum shows a retrospective of the Swedish artist Anna Ling from Gothenburg, presently living in Malmö. We found the exhibition extremely interesting and well curated. Konsthall Lund is a place of modern art. Entrance is usually free, and the changing exhibitions are of international standard. Besides enjoying the art, there are places inside where you can sit and read, and lots of books and magazines on art available. Well worth a visit! The staff is very friendly, too. It’s a little small and lacks a proper café, but there are plenty of places to have a coffee in the nearby area. Due to its size one can easily do two or 3 things in a day. We visited en exhibition called "We had a dream", by Albert Wiking, very good photography exhibits of different known & unknown people from all walks of life from around the world, with their respective life stories, dreams, works & accomplishments.
