Tanto is a very beautiful and sizeable park in the heart of Stockholm. There's a lot to see and do in just the park grounds alone, nevermind the rest of Södermalm. You have your pick of exploring it's beautiful gardens, playing beach volleyball / minigolf / football, diving off the docks to go for a quick swim, and of course, bringing a picnic basket so you can waste the day away with good company. That's barely scratching the surface, though, and it's no wonder the park is a local hotspot during the summer.

This is a big park with a lot of activities to do. There are place for dogs, kids playground, outdoor gym, food stands (and cafe!), there is also a small beach if you want to swim! So, tanto has a lot of things to offer. Also, if you walk down the water, there usually hornstull marknad selling food and artworks during the summer. Note: I would not recommend going here for reading because it could be quiet crowded especially near the water. If you want, go up the hill a little bit for a quieter place.

The park quite extensive, accessible from both the highway and the sea. It has some dedicated places for whichever games you want to play, and has some decks you can use while swimming during the summer, or other seasons if you don't mind freezing water. It has very cool bike lanes so you can enjoy biking there and afterwards join the highway or along the beach depending on where you want to go. In autumn the trees are just magnificent. Good photos have been taken here.

Is a nice park close to the Stockholm City. Close to Hornstull subway station. At Tantolunden they have mini golf and a outside gym. Ca 200 m from Tantolunden they also have a nice Boule bar where people can play boule and eat. There is a big kids playground at Tantolunden too. It's close to alot of restaurants nearby.

As I live nearby Tanto and so it has been my escape into nature particularly the whole path to it from Trådgarden. At Tanto, it has got an outdoor sauna, swimming jetty and kinda tiny sand beach. I have been here hundreds of times here and I always find it interesting (kind of solace between the hustle bustle of city).

A huge park at the edge of Söder. Good swimming possibilities, when the weather allows. Great for large groups or if you want to work out. They have a outdoor gym too. However, there can be quite a lot of sketchy people in the park, especially during evening/night time, so stay vigilant.

Description
Tantolunden is a park in the southern part of central Stockholm, Sweden. Tantolunden is located in Södermalm near Zinkensdamm and Hornstull. The area is bounded by the railway in the south, the Ringvägen in the east, the Drakenberg area in the north and Lake Årstaviken in the southwest.
