Nice quiet location in a side street with outdoor seating in a cute, almost romantic open backyard. We tried the Tasting Menu for 2 people which was really excellent (with one exception), and plenty it was! It barely fit on our small table. And it was even enough for a filling lunch the next day. Worth the price! The service was really friendly, however unfortunately at times it was hard to get their attention and we had to wait quite long to get any food, with at least three couples being served theirs despite having arrived and ordered after us. I wish they had brought out some of the delicious Hummus and their brilliant Tabbouli and whatnot as starters a bit earlier which would have made this a non-issue, on top of solving the space problem when we got served all of these delicious little plates in the space of like five minutes. As for the food, most was brilliant. If you like meat, take the more expensive non-veg taster, their lamb chops are not to be missed! The minced lamb rolls OTOH were a bit uneven and thus still raw in places so we had them for lunch the next day after a proper frying. What I can't fathom is the complete letdown that was the "grilled" chicken breast; it tasted like one of those pre-cooked (from frozen meat?) things that you often get on those prepackaged so-called "Caesar's" salads. Odd texture. Must have barely touched the grill, if at all. Not worthy of being part of this tasting menu. Not sure what went wrong there. That and the unnecessary wait dragged it down to 4 stars from an...

This place is great! Incredible flavors and spices. Delicious ice cold and fruity non-alcoholic drinks. Pleasant staff and cozy outdoor seating (I have not tried sitting indoors yet). It's nice that the restaurant is located on a calm street a short distance away from the busiest streets in this area. I will definitely be bringing friends and family here for more! Can't wait.
I highly recommend ordering the "Tasting Menu 1" (Avsmakningsmeny 1) for two people as you get a wide variety of small delicious dishes and flavors that can be combined in a multitude of ways (See attached pictures for reference).
Not a huge deal by any means, but the only reason I am not rating the atmosphere 5/5 is that the service staff (that were great) were running around a bit too frequently for my taste, refilling customers glasses of water when the glasses were basically...
Read moreA middle-eastern restaurant that can do more than hummous, if you are not up for eating animals. But prepare your stomach for a heavy meal.
Pros: Variety of dishes that you get to try when taking the vegetarian tasting menu. Sitting outside the atmosphere was nice and intimate. But the place seems quite big, so it might feel differently sitting somewhere else.
Negatives: Vegetarian menu comes with Shrimp apparently. Very odd, but if you know ahead of time you can obviously ask for replacement. The main dishes of the tasting menu are way too much on the heavy side, a lot of deep fried stuff, cheese, and pastry, did not feel super healthy.
Would be nice if they came up with an entirely vegan...
