A free attraction located next to the Harder Kulm train station, where you can see the Ibex up close. It's a relatively small enclosure and you need to hike up here, but it's quite a different location from the usual attractions. They also have English signboards.

As many have mentioned, seeing Ibex in the wild is extremely rare. Bear this in mind, they were once hunted to extinction in Switzerland, and now there are probably less than 20k in the wild across the entire country. So seeing Alpine Ibex is an absolute treat!

An absolute must do if in Interlaken. Ibex a rare animal to be seen in its full glory even when not locking horns 😈. A small enclosure of Marmatao also right next to the Ibex one. It's right next to the Harder kulm station .

2 enclosures with marmot and ibex. Good information about the re introduction of the ibex in English. Not much else. Nice to see local wildlife being looked after. Worth a look after a trip on the fenicular.

It’s a beautiful place with incredible landscapes, but there’s no need to have the animales in those little spaces when they could be free in the mountains. There’s ONE marmot (Groundhog) in a tiny square all by itself and the goats are in they’re natural habit but they decide to have them caged. —— Es un lugar hermoso con vistas increíbles, pero no hay necesidad de tener a los animales encerrados en esos espacios pequeños cuando podrían estar libres en las montañas. Hay UNA sola marmota en un minúsculo espacio y las cabras, que se encuentran en su hábitat natural, deciden encerrarlas.

It opens even after 6 pm. The navigation of Google Maps was wrong. The easiest way is to climb up the stairs to the Harderbahn station, and choose the way to the right side.
