We came to Interlaken for the weekend for my birthday and Sapori stood out as their menu looked great. We didn’t have a reservation but the person at the front of house found us a table. The food arrived apart from the chips we ordered as the waitress forgot to place the order but she quickly rectified it by sending chips which she paid for herself. A really kind gesture I must say. Everything else was going great, the food was tasty and as for the views, anyone that’s been to Interlaken will tell you the views are to die for and the view was exceptionally great from Sapori’s. Before we left, we asked one of the waiters if he could take a picture of me and my husband and he rudely said no and to ask someone else as he stormed off. I was really taken aback. It takes 2 seconds to take a picture and if he couldn’t do it he could’ve told us nicely. It was my birthday weekend, our first night in Interlaken and I felt he ruined the vibe. This place definitely deserved a 5 star but shame that was ruined!

Michelin grade service in a beautiful venue that will excite those in the Instagram business. We stopped by for lunch to grab a quick pizza before our hiking trek. Little did we know we stumbled into a rather upscale restaurant with over the top customer service. Heh, I’m not one to complain, it was good, perhaps too good with the mindset I was in. No lunch menu, same as you would get for dinner. We grabbed two appetizers and a pizza, all 3 were absolutely delicious. That pizza dough was wowzers, I couldn’t stop chewing on it and wanting more, so good. Best dough I’ve ever had. Paired the t with a glass of wine to chase it down. Prices were good considering the service, ambiance and food. Much better value than some of the other tourist traps in the area. Pictures of the venue don’t do it justice , you’ll have to see it for yourself in person. It’s grand and historical. Service is best in class. I would be interested in retiring for dinner to try some of their other entrees.

Didn't have a reservation but they managed to squeeze us in for dinner. An absolute gastronomic experience. The wait staff were very attentive and will wait for you to finish the course before serving up the next round. Also very helpful in recommending and helping to choose what to order without being overly pushy. And of course the most important thing, the food. One of the most delicious Italian food I've had the luxury of having. The gnocchi was not mushy and flavourful with a very rich sauce that is not overwhelming. We went with a tomato and a white based pizza to balance out the flavours. The Frutti Di mare was chock full of seafood and the gustosa were loaded with tasty meatballs. Both pizzas were flavourful without being overwhelming or strong in any way. The tiramisu was dense and creamy and the cannoli absolutely delicious with a fantastic fluffy cream filling.

With a flawless atmosphere and excellent food, this restaurant is a must-go in Interlaken. You’ll be amazed by the ambience of the restaurant, this place offers a fine-dining-like experience at a very reasonable price point. I ordered a mixed seasonal vegetable salad (CHF 10) and homemade spaghetti with cherry tomato and basil (CHF 17). The dishes showcased extraordinary execution and proved that it is possible to elevate a dish using only simple ingredients. Olive oil was added to the spaghetti which really elevated the flavour of the tomato sauce. On the side note, the service was spot-on. The waiter greeted us with smile and they were Italians as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who have a crave for Italian food.
