Asian restaurant serving mainly vietnamese-ish food, chinese and couple of korean dishes. Apparently the staff are all vietnamese, they are welcoming and friendly. The service is ok. The restaurant is asian-themed with some chinese and vietnamese touch. Sweet vietnamese background music.

We ordered some vietnamese dishes. Mỳ vằn thắn (vietnamese wonton noodle), mỳ xào bò (sautéed noodle with beef), mỳ xào đậu phụ (sautéed noodle with tofu), mỳ xào tôm (sautéed noodle wtih shrimp), mỳ vịt quay (noodle soup with roasted duck) and seafood soup. But here comes the unexpected.

The vietnamese wonton noodle isn't really how it should be done, at all, key ingredients are missing: boiled egg, char-siu pork, chive, roasted liver, without mentioning the broth they used isn't right. They even replaced these with zucchini, shiitake mushroom. The noodle used is far from what it should be. They shouldn't have named their dish as vietnamese wonton noodle. Period.

The sautéed noodle with beef also came out unexpected: the meat is clearly pork and not at all beef. We didn't complain because we thought they just made a small mistake, we could eat pork too so we let this slides.

Both the sautéed noodle with shrimp and tofu are kinda ok, if you can tolerate the extra saltiness.

The noodle soup with roasted duck could use an improvement, instead of dipping the duck into the soup, they could just have it separated: the noodle soup with vegetable in the bowl then the roasted duck in one seperated plate, to preserve its crispiness, as simple as that. And unsurprisingly, the broth they used is the same as the vietnamese wonton soup, which it shouldn't be.

The seafood soup might be ok, since our baby liked it and finished the small bowl. Surely because he liked the surimi as a "seafood", which I don't expected to be in such dish at that high price (9.- CHF).

TLDR: friendly and helpful staff, ok-level service but the food does't justify the price here. The cuisine isn't authentic, too salty, overpriced and overrated on other reviews. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place for anybody I know of they asked me for vietnamese cuisine...

We searched on Google for the nearest Vietnamese food in Interlaken and this place popped up as number one. We went there thinking that this place is just another typical "Asian" restaurant, but to our surprise, this place is way beyond our expectations in every which way. The authetic dishes (attached photos) that we ordered were super delicious, and the portion size is very generous. The restaurant is super clean and cozy. The servers and chef (we insisted meeting the chef since we were so impressed with his cooking) are so friendly and attentive. There were a few other restaurants that we wanted to try but we couldn't resist and came back here again the next night. We got to know the staff a little better. Tâm, Duy, and Hùng are the ones we talked to, and all of them are very polite. They didn't treat us like ordinary customers but more like friends and family. The last thing I wanted to mention in this review is the price which is more than reasonable and affordable. I honestly recommend this restaurant to any one visiting Interlaken. You will not be disappointed! Truly Asia restaurant really is a bonus point added to our wonderful vacation in Switzerland. Thank you Tâm, Duy, Hùng. We really appreciated your...

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the two staff members at the counter were shockingly inhospitable and displayed unprofessional behaviour (seemed racist even). It was raining and we ordered a drink while settling in and deciding on our dinner order, only to be rudely questioned about ordering just one drink for six people. Despite explaining that we intended to get dinner packed, one of the staff members made a blanket accusation, saying, “You’re all like this—you come in, use the bathroom, and leave without paying.”

This kind of baseless, discriminatory treatment is unacceptable in any setting, but especially in the hospitality industry. I strongly urge others to avoid this establishment, as the staff’s attitude was not only unwelcoming but also tinged with prejudice. They seem to have no regard for customer service or respect for their guests. This is not how a restaurant should treat its guests.

After going through other reviews, realised that we weren't the only ones that faced this. They must be reported to the authorities for...

Extremely unpleasant experience. On May 22, 2025, at around 13:40, I visited Truly Asia in Interlaken. When I tried to pay, the person in charge suddenly slammed the POS machine hard on the table and aggressively demanded I swipe my card—twice. When I questioned this behavior, he continued yelling and even smashed the POS machine again until it broke. He then threatened to call the police without justification. This was extremely rude and hostile behavior in front of other customers. As a tourist, this completely ruined my day and made me feel unsafe and humiliated. Absolutely unacceptable, and I do not recommend this place at all. I rarely leave reviews, and I have never written a negative one on Google Maps before. However, this incident was so shockingly inappropriate that I feel a responsibility to speak up. I believe in fairness and respect, and no customer—especially a visitor to Switzerland—should have to endure such behavior.

Just a minute walk across the hotel I'm staying. Ordered a bowl of Vietnamese chicken noodle soup and a plate of vegetable fried rice. Surprisingly it was really good. The food wasn't very salty and they were delicious. Especially the noodle, it has fungus, bean sprout, mushroom, chicken breast meat and grass noodle. Initially wanted to order hot pot chf48 for 1 pax and second dish a fried rice or soup noodle. Unfortunately the restaurant rule must order min hot pot for 2 paxs which is too much for one senior couple like us. Total bill chf45.50 spend. The food was good but not the price.
