I had such an amazing gluten free experience at this restaurant. First, I ordered a pizza which was amazing! It was regular size, and the crust was soft and delicious. After I ordered the pizza I learned that they bake it in a separate oven from the rest of the regular pizzas, and they do it without asking! After my meal I learned that they also have gluten free bread, so for dessert I asked if I could try their bread (I knew it was going to be good if the pizza was so good). Our waitress went above and beyond and made me a completely gluten free chocolate dessert with the bread, which was not on the menu. She assured me that all of the chocolate and whipped cream that was used was gluten free. I was very impressed with this family owned and operated restaurant with how accommodating they were with me, as well as how good the food actually was! Additionally, their restaurant is in a quiet spot in Interlaken as to get away from the busy main street, they have such a peaceful yard. I will definitely be going back! I went with my dad and brother who are not gluten free, and they told me that their food was also very delicious. Overall they have amazing service and amazing food, and made me feel special as they went above and beyond to accommodate me. The photos in my review are my gluten...
Read moreWe waited for an hour for the two pizza. One of the tables sat down at the same time as us and our pizza still didn’t arrive after they finished their appetiser and main. Another table sat down and ordered after us and they also got served their food ahead of hours. Complete lost of words. Ordered the pizza horn as it seems it’s quite well reviewed, but the dough wasn’t even fully cooked. It also tasted very blend. It definitely does not worth 28 CHF!
We chose to sit inside because of all the smokers outside, but the indoor part of the restaurant was still full on cigarette smoke because the smokers just end up blowing the cigarette smoke back inside… very unpleasant. Also all the “rules” on the signs at the door doesn’t scream very friendly to customers either.
We walked past the Il Buongustaio afterwards and it seemed to be a much better and popular option (and cheaper too). If you want to have pizza you should avoid Pizzeria Horn and try...

We stopped by as a party of 8 and were met with an abrupt “No, we do not have room” despite the restaurant being clearly half-empty. No attempt to accommodate us, no explanation — just a flat-out refusal. The attitude was unnecessarily cold and dismissive.
Even before walking in, their bizarre and condescending sign (“We don’t know Alfredo!!!!”, “PSSSS…!!!! DEAR TOURIST”) should’ve been the warning. It sets the tone for what feels less like hospitality and more like hostility. If they treat potential customers this rudely at the door, I can only imagine what the service would be like inside.
Interlaken has far better, more welcoming restaurants. Do yourself a favor and take your business to one that actually values its guests — local or tourist.
Delicious meal (pizza and cannelloni). Cute building with...
