I'm writing for Chatuchak Wednesday/Thursday gardening market.
Located along the main road of Chatuchak Weekend Market arked. This gardening market has A LOT to offer. From ferns and moss to the rare ornamental, banana, exquisite bromeliads/orchids/Hoyas. You name it! All at an attractive price.
Most of the stalls focuses on the own niche domain which is good for the enthusiasts. Many of which really know what they are doing. You may show pictures of the plant you're looking for or ask the vendor by the scientific name.
For the particular "gardening market" on Wednesday and Thursday, I didn't see any fresh flower stall except the one selling water lilies and lotuses.

Recently, the regular door is closed so you will need to do abit of walk around to enter the market. There are lots of cactuses, big plants, flowers, seeds. You can also find plastic pots and garden equipments with good prices. I came to find some porcelain small/mid size pot but they do not have. If you cant find what you need here, try to take a motobike 30THB to the near by Or Tor Kor market (plant section) - its smaller but I managed to get some pots I wanted. Read moreThere is another Plant/Flower market only open on WEDNESDAYS from 6am to 11am on the same venue as the Chatutak weekend market near Mochit BTS Station. You can ogle at beautiful flowers, orchids, trees (yes they sell giant trees), If you are a gardener this is a must visit in Bangkok. You can have a good look at how Thailand is in agriculture and horticulture. Just be aware that you need neccessary permits to bring plants in your country, and you can get exit permits from Suvarhnambumi airport (easy part).
