Here are my top 6 places to shop till you drop in Bangkok and why: 1. Chatuchak Market aka JJs aka the Weekend Market - open only on weekends, this market is the biggest market in all of South East Asia where you can easily spend an entire day getting lost amongst all the stalls selling everything from amazing vintage goods, local designers, food, plants, home decor, souvenirs, handicrafts, animals and everything in between! When I lived in Bangkok I’d go at least once a month I loved it so much! Sadly this past trip I wasn’t able to go as it didn’t coincide with the days I was there. 2. Talad Rot Fai aka the Night Train Market - this market has moved around a few times and I sadly didn’t get to go on this past trip either, but I loved it for all the cool vintage shops, antiques and VW vans turned into vibey bars. 3. Terminal 21 -this mall is themed like an airport with the elevators departing and arriving at different levels representing different cities around the world like London, Istanbul and Rome. The food hall is themed after San Fransisco Pier, the movie theater like Hollywood and the employees are dressed like flight attendants. (Also not featured in this video as I didn’t have time to go, but I used to live right down the street and go all the time.) 4. Siam Center -feels like you’re in a fashion museum with amazing stores and visual merchandising of mostly local Thai designers 5. Siam Paragon -super fancy with an incredible food court and the best grocery store Gourmet Market 6. Khao San Road -touristy and overpriced but a fun place to people watch, party, try scorpions, get a massage and a bucket and shop for knockoffs and souvenirs. Let me know in the comments what your favorite place to shop in Bangkok is. : : : #bangkokshopping #shoppingguide #bangkokshop #bangkokshoppingguide #bangkokfashion #bangkokstuff #bangkokspirit #bangkoklife #wheretoshop #shoppingmalls #siamcenter #siamparagon #khaosanroad #chatuchak #terminal21 #adayinthailand #traveltips #shopaholic #thaifashion #thaifashiondesigner
