I must start by saying the broth is incredible. There is so much flavour in the duck noodle soup. It is probably the second best broth I have had in bangkok. It is so rich and yet soothing, so you can keep on consuming the broth and never get bored. The duck was beautifully cooked, tender, and moist. This was my first time trying duck blood which came in a cube. The texture was surprisingly satisfying as I was expecting it to be slimy like a really soft tofu, but it had a bit of a bite to it. Out of curiosity, we ordered a duck noodle regular and large for an extra 10 thai baht. However, we inspected them and couldn't see the difference. The portions for the regular are sufficient anyway. This place was recommended before hand, but with the size of chatuchak market I thought we might have difficult finding it. However, there was no problem as it is on the main stretch so you will stumble upon it. The service was rapid. There are so many people waiting they push tables very quickly but knew to leave you alone while you are eating, so as not to create a rushed atmosphere, even though there are lots of crowds surrounding you. It terms of convenience, the shop is found along the main walking street of Chatuchak (along Section 4). However, the shop is a bit small, so some waiting for a table might be required once the shop is full.

The only downside was the duck itself—it could’ve been more tender and flavorful with a longer braise. Also, the eatery is quite small, and if you’re seated near the kitchen, be prepared for the heat.
Still, a satisfying bowl of duck noodles worth trying if you’re...
