A great local market! We come here once or twice a week to buy a whole lot of vegetables. We also buy our eggs, rice and some other goods here depending on what we need / what we want to make.
The prices are amazing, we can get a huge re-usable shopping bag full of fresh produce for 100-200 baht, depending on what we're buying. Many items are '3 for 5 baht' or '3 for 10 baht' (eg. 3 tomatoes or 3 onions).
The one-star off rating is because I can't really deal with the "open air butcher" section of the market. I think it just depends on what you're used to, so if you don't mind seeing huge portions of butchered animals and raw meats all out in the open on counter-tops then this part of the market may be OK for you. I personally don't like this system for seeing/buying meat.
We like trying some different ready-to-eat foods to snack on during the shopping trip. There are small bags of sweet potatoes (yum!), some great smoothie, fresh juice, and coffee stands, spring rolls and spicy sausages. There's also a small bakery in a little enclosed shop at the edge of the market.
For any cosmetic or bathroom supplies there's also a HUGE store with products for face/hair/body (just be aware that it appears nearly 100% of moisturizers are with whitening ingredients). Found a range of mosquito repellants here starting from 39 baht for a small spray bottle.
You can find such a massive selection of foods and products within this...

The market has two main buildings. One is a fresh market. And the other is a large food circus with about fifty small restaurants. And their prices are cheap - it's local.
The fresh market offers fresh fruit and vegetable stands offered by hundreds of vendors. It also has a wide variety of seafood and meat offerings. There are many stands that offer take away items. Just about anything you can think of.
Why cook when you can get the best of Thailands cuisine right here? I come here twice a week to replenish my stash of of green papaya salad.
In addition to your favorite you'll find many of things you've never seen before! Local specialties, rice crackers and every variety. Just about any Thai culinary specialty you can dream up. Fried crickets anybody?
Don't be put off by that fact that most vendors will not speak English. We all speak Bhat - add a big smile and you're in business.! And thus...
