Firefly Factory - Thai & Italian Fusion Restaurant & 3D Immersive Dining Experience — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! To start off very hard to find, had to go through a storage warehouse and when we arrived it was completely empty, the waitress said we had to order before sitting down which seemed weird and when we asked to sit first she looked at us in disbelief. She tried to seat us in a clinically lit room, not the nice projector room we had come for and had an attitude with us when we asked to sit in this room. This terrible customer service continued through our visit, the beers we ordered were warm and the food was terrible - we got the pork lettuce wraps, which were horrible and we think will cause food poisoning, and a margarita pizza, which we’re convinced was just a freezer pizza. Our food came at vastly different times. The projectors are cool but they definitely need to change something as this is NOT...

I had a delightful experience during my lunch visit, highlighted by the beautifully presented dishes. The restaurant's ambiance was enhanced by captivating video animations that adorned the walls, creating a unique dining atmosphere. The staff were courteous and attentive, ensuring we were served promptly, which I greatly appreciated. I highly recommend the Khao Soi Kai; it was outstanding, and both salmon dishes we tried were good as well. However, I found the Thai tea mac and cheese to be a bit disappointing. Despite its visually appealing presentation, the flavor reminiscent of a cheap powdered instant tea fell short of expectations. Perhaps there could be a rework on that dish for improvement? One positive point is that you can play with the lighting equipment on your table, and the staff are pretty nice.

For food (savory), I recommend you to read other reviews instead, but for the drinks, it's kinda decent, but pretty much overcharged.

The atmosphere definitely doesn't make up for it at all, too, especially with some what pixilated aquarium GIF contain with oversaturated corals, jelly fish, and some dolphin and whale here and there. When you take a picture with this lighting background, you will look like a Picasso's style replica drawn by some 6 years old that they should rename this restaurant to "Mayfly" instead because that's the only type of customer...
