Jimmy kata surf phuket — Attraction in Karon

i spent a week-ish taking surfing classes with Aod (my instructor) and absolutely loved it. the team there with Jimmy are so welcoming and really made me feel like home. they're all really experienced and are the OG there, being the first surf school at Kata beach. And Aod was incredibly patient, dedicated and thoughtful. I was there in April-May period which is not quite surfing season yet so on days when the waves were too small at Kata beach, Aod would even bike to the neighbouring beaches to see if the waves were better there for surfing.

they were also really generous in lending me their SUP board on days where the waves are too small to surf. All their gears are in great condition. even when im not in the water, they've a really cosy and shaded spot which i could just chill with my coconut, read a book or just watch the sunset (which is insanely beautiful). Jimmy's wife also takes the best photos, and is really friendly to ensure you're always with a bottle of cold water after you surf. Had an absolute blast of a time here!!!!! The staff were incredibly friendly and had a nice vibe. The waves are nice and the beach is just perfect. Strongly recommend to all folks who wanna try surfing. They also have great amenities like a shower, changing room, water and a resting area. Always good...

Kata Beach in Phuket is really nice. It has soft white sand and very clear water. The beach is clean and pretty. People are happy here. You can swim and enjoy the sun every day. The weather is good most of the time. It's a great place to relax and have fun. If you visit Phuket, you should go to Kata Beach....
