My decision to visit this massage salon with my Thai friend for a Thai massage was based on Google reviews, but my experience left much to be desired. I believe that the quality of service should match the ratings, and unfortunately, there were several aspects that fell short of expectations.
Foot Washing Facility: Upon entering, we noticed a foot washing facility, but it was not utilized, even for traditional Thai massages. In most places, feet are typically washed or cleaned with a hot wet towel before a massage. Customer Service: I had to request water upon arrival. It’s customary for massage establishments to offer water to customers as a courtesy. Inappropriate Comment: During the massage, the therapist, Lilly, made an unprofessional comment about my body. She remarked that she expected me to be involved in some form of training or boxing based on my appearance. During the massage she mentioned that she couldn’t feel any muscles or something to that effect. This comment, whether intended harmlessly or not, made me uncomfortable. In a massage setting, clients come to relax, not be subjected to personal remarks. Talking During Massage: The ambiance of a massage session is best enjoyed in silence. Excessive talking, especially in a foreign language I couldn’t understand, disrupted my relaxation. Post-Massage Amenities: Most reputable massage salons offer water, tea, or even some light refreshments at the end of the session to allow clients to ease back into the day. This was notably absent in my experience, and I had to help myself to water from the front desk.
Regarding the massage itself:
Pressure and Preferences: The masseuse didn’t inquire about my pressure preferences or areas I wanted her to focus on, apart from a brief check at the beginning. This lack of communication affected the overall quality of the massage. Inconsistent Pressure: At times, the pressure applied during the massage was too intense, which made the experience less enjoyable.
In light of these issues, I can’t rate this experience higher than one star. I had high hopes based on the salon’s rating, but it turned out to be quite disappointing. I hope the salon takes these points into consideration to improve its services and provide a more professional and relaxing experience for...
Read moreI visited this place last night. It was my first time experiencing a real Thai massage. I usually prefer oil massages and have heard that Thai massages can be painful. Additionally, I'm a bit particular about the type of bed when it comes to getting a massage. The massage shop provided beds with holes for placing your head, so I decided to give it a try. I believe the type of bed is crucial because when I turn my head from side to side on a regular pillow, it feels like my muscles are bunching up, which defeats the purpose of getting a massage.
However, I decided to give it a try this time, and it was amazing! As many may have experienced, there's a refreshing feeling of muscle relief that comes after a bit of discomfort. I was attended by a male masseur named Sharon, or Shalon (it was my first time asking the masseur's name), and he was excellent. Despite being quite tolerant of pain, I did feel some discomfort, but the satisfaction afterward was greater. He thoroughly worked on knots and tension points for the entire hour, not wasting a single moment. Thank you for providing such an experience. I'll definitely choose him again next time. Read moreWe stayed at the hotel nearby and was unsure which massage house to visit till Google showed us this place with high ratings. My husband and I were there around 4pm and were warmly greeted by the staff. My husband went for an hour full body oil massage while I went for a 1hr foot massage. It was the best decision ever. My poor feet were aching and my right foot arch has been aching for a long time My massage therapist helped me rub off the swollen viens and I admit it was very painful. But I know it's for the better. My husband said her massage therapist was very skilled and he enjoyed his massage a lot. Today I'm so happy my right foot arch is gone. I would highly recommend this place to all visitors for a no frill and relaxing massage experience. The staff are warm and understand English...
