The Harbor Restaurant — Restaurant in Karon

Absolutely fabulous staff, so attentive, provided a complimentary starter for us and free bread plate, food was fresh and tasted delicious, recommend their cheese plate (380 baht) (great selection of Brie and two other types of cheese, sweet honey and dried fruit), their shrimp tacos are also fresh but for Mexican food lover, the taco shell is a bit plain. However, still quite tasty.

We didn’t make a reservation, came as walk in and got a sit on the inside. There is inside seating and outside seating, which must be beautiful during the day but we came at night. Wonderful fresh flowers at the table, and they provide a table cloth when you sit. We came in with no expectations just for a quick bite after a beach day and were very pleasantly surprised!

During our meal, staff even came up to ask how our meal is, which is very attentive and shows great care. Our bill was around 1600 baht.

Recommended to do a reservation if you are not residing at the hotel to ensure you get a table.

At the end just a strange moment when staff member came up and asked which area of Thailand I live, kind of threw me off. But nevertheless, all the staff were great even asked if we would like a buggy car to take us back down to the entrance. We had a nice ride...

I recently dined at The Harbor at The Shore at Katathani in Phuket and was impressed by the serene atmosphere and stunning ocean views. The staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome throughout the meal. Wan esa was exceptionally good!

The food itself was delicious—fresh ingredients, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried, from the seafood to the desserts, was bursting with flavor and showed great attention to detail.

That said, the experience was hampered by unexpectedly long wait times. We found ourselves waiting quite a while for both drinks and food, even though the restaurant wasn’t overly busy at the time. The delays took away from what could’ve been a seamless and relaxing dining experience.

If the kitchen and bar service can improve their timing, The Harbor could easily become a standout dining spot in Phuket. For now, it’s a great choice for those who value atmosphere and flavor, but just be prepared to linger a little longer...

Absolutely amazing!!! The food is outstanding, 10/10. The ambiance is beautiful, overlooking the ocean view. Everything we ate and drank was superb, the chili salt Lobster is a must. The staff are a true asset to The Shore and the Harbour restaurant, always smiling and ever so helpful. Customer service was exceptional, the best we have ever had in a hotel & restaurant. Special mention to Wannisa who made our stay wonderful and to Woody who was amazing, always happy! Would love to mention that all of the staff are superstars and exceeded all expectations :)

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here and hope you be back one day....
