I had food poisoning after dining at this restaurant which was unfortunate. I believe the river prawn in the tom yum soup was not handled properly as it had a foul smell and could be the cause for the food poisoning. The curry chicken was served cold (read other reviews having similar feedback as well). Overall I would not recommend this restaurant. Pricey and not tasty food, food handling also not done well. Don’t be deceived by the exquisite presentation.. avoid at all cause.. spoiler for my vacation and had to go emergency in hospital after back to my country as food poisoning was quite severe. They dismissed my claim that I had food poisoning from their restaurant as no one else fell ill.. However I vomited few hours after dining there and I didn’t eat any other food for dinner. It can only take bad handling of one river prawn to trigger this which can be an isolated case, just me alone getting sick is not impossible! Where else can I get sick from if I didn’t eat anything after dinner and dinner was only from param para? I read reviews about food poisoning from the hotel restaurants before so I am sure this is not the first occurrence. We were hesitant to try this as there were super mixed reviews but we thought to give it a shot since we love Thai food, but proven to be a bad...
Read moreAmazing service. Very friendly and good concept with story telling for each course. Massive let down by the food. Lacking in Thai flavours you would expect. Seemed to be so much focus on theatrics and showcasing vegetable cutting techniques and overlooks taste and texture in each dish. The dumplings very well presented but bland - would not know what each was without looking back at the menu. Curry was runny and lack herbs spices and flavours you expect from Thai cuisine. The whiskey poured and lit up over the the top did not all burn off properly and left a bitter taste. Literally had to try and eat around it. Mango sticky rice looked amazing and too good to eat. A credit to the knife skills. However not really nice to eat because the mango was ripe and cut into thin slices so it becomes soft and mushy as you try to eat it. Again everything is beautifully presented and garnished with flowers and expertly cut veggies but none of these add flavour or have any taste. Went to the restaurant next door for the remainder of our stay. Looks like everything comes out of the same kitchen but food was more down to earth and rich in flavours at the...
