Visiting the night market was a culinary adventure that I won't soon forget. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by a vibrant atmosphere, with the scent of delicious street food wafting through the air and the hustle and bustle of locals and tourists exploring the stalls.
The variety of food options at the night market was astounding. From seafood grilling to Thai curries, noodles, and a wide array of snacks, there was something to satisfy every palate. The freshness of the ingredients and the authentic flavors made each dish a delight.
One of the highlights was the seafood. I tried grilled prawns and a mouthwatering seafood skewer, both cooked to perfection. The street vendors expertly seasoned their dishes, offering a mix of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors.
The dessert options were equally impressive. The mango sticky rice was a sweet treat that captured the essence of Thai cuisine. It was beautifully presented, and the combination of ripe mango, sticky rice, and sweet coconut milk was divine.
The prices were reasonable, making it an excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers. The friendly vendors were eager to share their recommendations and chat about the local cuisine, enhancing the overall experience.
The night market is a must-visit for any food enthusiast. It offers a tantalizing array of Thai dishes and provides a truly immersive experience into the local food culture. I'll cherish the memories of the delicious street food and the lively atmosphere for a long...
Read moreThis market is open 7 days a week. Directly opposite the Crab Statue on the riverside, so a great place to buy foods and take over to the "Crab" when they have a stage set up for music and dancing, if not just do what the locals do and chill on the plaza as you eat. Some great stalls in this market. We always enjoy coming here when the weekend market is open. We don't eat here often, but it's just a nice area to be in. The people are very friendly and sometimes there's some live music on the stage. 5 "lanes" of food lead up to some cocktail bars and the stage and then beyond there you have a few clothing stalls (new and thrift stalls). This market definitely attracts more local people than the weekend market does. When we do eat here it's normally at the stalls which offer fresh food to order. Just...

The market is a positive stark contrast from the overly touristic "Krabi Town Night Market" which is behind Vogue shopping mall. Black Crab market is located near the Mud Crab Statue and attracts both locals and tourists. We found the food to be authentic and fairly priced. We also liked that there's plenty of seating by the stage (in the rear section of the market) and that some of the bars encourage you to eat the food from the various stalls at their tables if you order a drink. Good...
