Nai Thon Beach — Attraction in Sakhu

Beautiful beach with beautiful sand and crystal clear sea. Unfortunately today the sea was full of jellyfish 🪼😭... especially in nai thon...every 2 meters you could see one. I really envy the people who don't care about it and continue to swim without problems but I cannot...I hate jellyfish so I could not enjoy it at all. But I could enjoy the food! In front of the beach there are many restaurants and local stands. We went to a local stand and ordered yellow noodles with shrimps and Tom yum with white rice...we just spent 200tbh. And the mango juice was 40 tbh. They had chairs and tables where to sit so I really enjoyed our lunch. We are staying in nai yang for a few days and we didn't want to rent a scooter so we used an app for a taxi. Grab is insanely expensive, bolt is ok and indrive is the cheapest one, but not so many drivers use it...but if you are in need and want to spend less...

I'm updating my review from six years ago, so it's interesting to see if what I wrote then is still accurate. Well, for sure, what's changed is the number of people here, much busier now. However, with it being such a long beach, there is still plenty of space to spread out. Still fine golden sand and a nice tree lined stretch between the road and the sand providing shade. I like the minimal development of the road running along the beach front with its small restaurants, shops, and massage places.
