NO. 24 Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Sakhu

Unfortunately I have to write a negative judgement. We have been there as a couple and were looking forward to a nice dinner based on all the good posts. The problem here was clearly the service which was done by a whole bunch of teens that did not have a glue about service. It started that I've Starr was missed and also asking several times fit it did not help. Then with the main course they even manned to miss a complete dish and were not even wondering why only one of two persons is eating. Complain here again did not help and they really did not care at all. Finally we even needed to tell them again that they missed half of the food when we paid. Really sorry to say but...

The restaurant # 24 has a tidy and appealing ambience. The service was OK, but the food itself could not convince.

The garlic bread was clearly too dry and therefore much too hard for the palate.

The ordered Thai dishes were only partially authentic prepared - in all dishes at the ingredient "meat" was saved (except the laarb) - therefore it was in each case clearly too much vegetables included.

The bill was to high for the food and with a Pad Kapao the rice actually belongs to it and not as a separate item on the bill.

You can eat here - but you do not have to.

DEUTSCH Das Restaurant #24 hat ein aufgeräumtes und ansprechendes Ambiente. Der Service war OK, aber das Essen selbst konnte leider nicht überzeugen.

Das Knoblauchbrot war deutlich zu trocken und somit für den Gaumen viel zu hart.

Die georderten Thailändischen Gerichte waren nur bedingt authentisch zubereitet - besonders fiel durchweg auf, das bei allen Gerichten an der Zutat "Fleisch" gespart wurde (außer beim Laarb) - dafür war dann jeweils deutlich zu viel Gemüse enthalten.

Die Rechnung war für das Essen deutlich zu hoch und bei einem Pad Kapao gehört der Reis eigentlich dazu und nicht als gesonderte Position auf die Rechnung.

Man kann hier essen - muss man aber nicht.

We weren’t sure about coming here as there were mixed reviews and we heard it was under new ownership however we ate here last night (22nd March) and it was absolutely gorgeous food. We had the Thai coconut curry, the special noodles and pork and cashew, all were super tasty. The service was brilliant, we didn’t have to wait long for food or drinks and the staff were on hand all evening.
