However, the appetizers (mezes) were just average, and the rice was not prepared in the Turkish way; it was Thai-style rice. Read moreConvenient place for decent food. We ate here a couple of times. We had pizza, bruschetta, mango shakes. The pizza was good. The cheese, and in particular, the sauce was very good. The crust was the weak point, but overall - glad we ate here.
The bruschetta was just all wrong though. The bread was too small. The bread was too hard (and dark in some spots). The tomatoes were doused in some sort of vinegar dressing - this is the usual in restaurants that don't know how to make it. They sprinkled grated parmesan cheese from a can on top - really not happy at all with it. Waitresses were excellent, pleasant. Macarona restaurant was clean fresh fresh restaurant on the beach road, the staff spoke English and were very welcoming. The kitchen is open to the restaurant, and as picky eaters we were able to see the kitchen was clean and well presented, and the food was all fresh.
