Golden Teak Museum has an admission fee of 30 baht per person. The amazing thing about this place is the wood that was used to build the entire building. One can attempt to justify how solid the teak wood is by going to any of the pillars and have a tap on it. It’s simply dense!

I was told that the outer pillars which are painted white in colour are actually teak wood as well. After having known this fact, I took a second look and it really looked like a concrete pillar and amazingly strong on par.

At the second level, there are many 1-1 size of famous monks made in wax. The resemblance is fantastic. (Refer to panoramic photo). The eyesight of each wax statue is uncanny true to life. It’s as if each statue is alive and looking at you.

In different corners of the building, you can see photos and books of great history. It is definitely a place that tourist or even locals should visit at least once...
