Read moreI went to The Old Siam Plaza, and it was like stepping into a time capsule of Thai charm! ð°ïļâĻ I came ready to explore a bit of history, and it was a delightful mix of old-world elegance and modern shopping. ðïļðĪĐ
I visited this place hoping to find some unique Thai goods, and it was a treasure trove of traditional crafts, silk, and gold! From the intricate designs to the vibrant colors, it was a feast for the eyes. I felt like I should have worn a traditional Thai outfit to truly blend in! (I didn't, but I admired everyone who did!) ðð
However, letâs be real â even for someone who loves a bit of culture, an old-style plaza can sometimes feel a bit like a real-life game of "find the modern bathroom." ð And while the atmosphere was undeniably charming, my wallet definitely felt a bit lighter after browsing all those beautiful (and tempting) shops. ðļ
Overall, if you're looking for a shopping experience that's both cultural and unique, The Old Siam Plaza is a must-visit! It's elegant, it's historical, and you're guaranteed to find something special. I came away feeling like I'd just taken a step back in time, even if I sometimes felt like I was participating in a synchronized appreciation of Thai artistry with a hundred other culture enthusiasts. Just remember to bring your appreciation for craftsmanship, and maybe a little extra cash for those irresistible...
Read moreI bought a traditional thai pants from a shop called Wassana Phathai at 2nd floor C2-07. I just used one day and washed with plain water. To my shock the entire yellow design disappeared and the pant became like a waste cloth. I took back to the shop but they didn't care or respond. I paid 2300 bhat for that trouser. Later I have made a detailed written complaint to the mall and to the OCPB. Since I paid by cash and they didn't give a receipt I don't have a proof of payment. I was really cheated by this shop. I request everyone to not to go to this shop. Over all the mall is very good and they have variety of clothes. Lots of choice. I was cheated by this particular shop only and extremely disappointed and sad. I request everyone to get a bill or receipt...
