a delightful Tunisian gem that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet elegant setting that immediately made us feel at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our visit. We tried the eggs with vegetables, cooked to perfection. The dish was bursting with authentic Tunisian flavors,. It was simple yet hearty, a comforting meal that left us thoroughly satisfied. The freshness of the vegetables and the richness of the tomato sauce truly stood out. What also impressed me was the versatility of the restaurant. It felt like the perfect spot for a casual breakfast, a relaxing coffee break, or even an intimate dinner.

When we arrived in Tunis (2 years ago) we were big fans of this place that we kept going each week to have breakfast or brunch or even lunch. We were quite surprised for the food quality and how european the cafe looked like. After 2 years, in one Saturday morning we decided to go again to have some breakfast and holy guacamoly they are still the same at least on what we ordered. The eggs Bénédicte are still delicious, everything tastes really fresh, the pancakes are fluffy and moist with the salted caramel on top and the coffee is good as well. Regarding the prices haven't changed which is nice.

The food : the gnocchi was scrumptious 😋 the toast had no guacamole and the portion was small compared to the price, but still it was a tasty starter, the juice was good as well but I wished it was cold, +++ for using metallic straws! 👏 The service: impeccable! The stuff is friendly and the lemon and mint water on the table was very much appreciated. Atmosphere: loved the colors that made the space warm and comfortable, great music played with just the right volume My only small complaint is that you can only pay in cash which we luckily had, the option to pay by card wasn't available 🙈

Worst restaurant experience in my life so far. We saw the good reviews and the photos of the food so we decided to go there. But we regretted so soon. It was full so we waited for 20 minutes outside. And then when we entered, the waiters were passing by and we were like invisible. They didn't even say Hi or we are gonna take care of you in some time. We waited 5 minutes inside to be than finally sit. They took time to bring us the menus and they made a loooooot of time to bring the drink that was only three coffees. They brought the meals I guess after 45 minutes of waiting. Not a enough cutlery, we had to ask for enough cutlery. They brought a dessert we didn't ask for so we said that's not for us, he was like are u sure I thought u asked for it so okay take it for free, some minutes later he came back to say No it is my error, the dessert was for the table behind 🥴 So he took it and said ok I ll give u one for free than. With my burger there were very few fries and when we mentioned the amount of fries, he brought a little bit more but our suprise we paid these few more fries 7 DT additional fees. My husband is allergic to nuts so we chose a salad without nuts for him on the menu, they brought one with nuts able to kill him, they were in small pieces so he could have ate them if I wasn't very attentive. They almost didn't apologise for this and said yeah normally there is nuts in it but while we changed the menu we FORGOT to mention that on the menu. OKEYYYY. They finally changed the salad and now it was fade without salt etc... well ... And the waiter comes and tells us as if it was a favor: look we changed the salad, we answered yeah because : he could die with the other. He didn't seem empathetic or sorry. Just as if it wasn't so bad.

My friend took a pasta but really so average, no special taste. For the dessert we wanted to share but he had already took all the cutlery so we had to ask for others. I'm really very disappointed. You feel like u r not welcome not respected. Zero service, long waiting time, not professionnal at all and some dishes are just average and expensive.

We don't recommend. I advice them to smile to clients, to welcome them, to consider them, to be faster and more professional mentioning the allergic products in their menu and taking care of this not small DETAIL. Well we paid for 143 DT to have the worst restaurant...

I don't usually give any place a 1-star unless it's really warranted. My wife and I came here to have brunch and when we first entered the place, it was beautiful. Atmosphere was great and the place looked very nice. Unfortunately, that was all it offered.

The service was not good at all. The food, just as bad.

Let's start with the service. When we entered, we were greeted and sat at a table, given a menu, and we looked at their options.

The food took a really long time once we ordered. Not like the usual long wait, but even longer (~35 mins).

After getting the food, the server never checked in on us to see if we needed anything or if we were satisfied with the food (I should also preface that there was only 1 other individual in the establishment while we were there). We had to ask for ketchup multiple times because they would only provide 1 tiny little saucer to share between us. At the end we just got up, went to the register ourselves and paid the bill and left.

The food: We ordered a couple of eggs benedicts from the al la carte menu and a "fresh" strawberry juice. Now the prices were a bit expensive for some of the items they had on the menu. Like 12 dinars to add a couple of bacon strips on eggs benedict is a little ridiculous, but I decided to add it on hoping to enjoy the meal. After waiting for so long, we got the food, and at first glance, it looked good. The presentation was nice but it was cold. The eggs were under cooked and the bread was stale, and everything was under seasoned. The portion sizes were also small: one egg on one piece of toast. For something simple to make, it shouldn't have been both cold and badly flavoured. The strawberry juice wasn't real strawberries, and we weren't sure if the water we were served was bottle or tap.

We were not happy with all this especially since this place had a high review rating.

Just wanted to share our experience. Hopefully the establishment can...

We had high hopes for this place because of the reviews here, but were sadly disappointed. The place is decorated nicely but quite small. We entered and the first thing we smelled was chlorine, which they had just used to clean, which is a weird thing to do when you have people eating in there. No one wants to smell that while eating. Clean the place before opening or after closing. Table we were seated seemed sticky and not cleaned. We ordered the pancakes, salmon toast with avocado and egg, yoghurt with fruit. Pancakes were quite dry and stiff, should be fluffy like pancakes are supposed to be. Toast with salmon and egg was nothing special, egg seemed super small compared to the 2 toasts you get with it. De fruit in the yoghurt were exactly the same as on the pancakes, a little bit of variation wouldve been nice, specially if your menu isnt as elaborate. As for the service, every dish came 1 by one, with 15 min between each persons meal, which is absurd. You should serve everyone in a group together instead of making people eat by themselves. It just took way too long for how simple the meals actually...
