Yardbirds — Restaurant in Tunis

We went in to have a cup of coffee , and ordered one. We were just resting after leaving the beach before grabbing a taxi The server came and kicked us out Saying it's a restaurant and not a coffee. If we had to get dinner, they should have explained that before letting us order and after we sat. So rude , never seen a place that kicks out tourists without thinking about making costumers I work In the hospitality industry and a manager In a well known place in beirut. This is a big no no for treating people. By the way the place was completely empty😂

Update : the coffee was not to share between two people, it was for me only. And there is no such thing as forcing costumers what to order, And if your stupid policy says so , you should have informed us before we ordered that you only let people come in of they were dining. Your scary looking staff member came and kicked us out after 5 minutes of us actually sitting. Note : clean your bathroom before...

Pessimo servizio, proprietario maleducato. Reply “Thank you for your response, but I would like to clarify some important points. When we entered your establishment, the staff behind the counter made it immediately clear that they did not want to serve us, even though we clearly saw them serving only drinks to other customers. We politely asked to use the restroom, but we were denied access until we ordered something, which is unacceptable for a place that should be welcoming to its customers.

This was not an issue of disturbance or organization, but rather of a discriminatory and unprofessional attitude. As a group of 11 people, we were ready to order and respect the rules of the establishment, but it was made clear to us that we were not welcome. This behavior was humiliating and unjustified.

I expect you to seriously reflect on how you treat your customers, as the experience we had was far from what any establishment...

I came here for a simple breakfast, but unfortunately, it was a really disappointing experience from start to finish.

The service was slow, inattentive, and lacked any sense of hospitality ( they don’t even smile)

The prices are unreasonably high considering what’s offered. You’d expect at least decent quality or generous portions for the cost, but the portions were tiny, and the food itself was nothing special.

What made things worse is that the seating area is cramped and very uncomfortable. The chairs weren’t supportive, and the overall space felt neglected , definitely not the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy a meal.

Honestly, with so many better options out there, I wouldn’t recommend this place for breakfast. There’s much room for improvement in both...
