Kiev is a beautiful city. But Please do not put this location on your premium-must visit list. I know somehow this place received high ratings from social media. But the realities are ( as of July 2018):
Location and the true picture of the entire park - You May actually feeling this park is a small community park ( little bigger than the common kids playing grounds) behind the few old Soviet buildings.
If you follow most of gps or google maps . You will not find right access going into the park. If gps led you to enter from podil ( lower side ), you must climb up the dirt hill on unpaved road. They are building some park ways to go up now ( in front of the new Korean embassy or consular Office building. But not in use yet).
Most cute mosaic characters are old and need maintain. Many of mosaicare missing from the statues already.
For those photo lovers, excepting making close range photo is fine. If you set your camera view little higher, you will have very unpleasant Soviet manufacture’s broken building right behind :).

You can have fun swinging on the bench or climb on the roof top easily. You can have a sit in the rabbit’s mouth and in the throat of the huge cat. All of these are talented Kyiv artists work. Multi-colored mosaic creates magic and completely absorbs us into the world of fiction and miracles. Moreover, there are wonderful view of the old Kyiv city. You can carefully examine Podol’s district and the Dnipro river views and just admire the scales of the Ukraine’s capital city. It’s hard to imagine that in 2007 there was an attempt to build a skyscraper there illegally. Thankfully to local activists the building process was stopped and park remained free to walk for Kyiv citizens...

Google Maps, however, did not seem to know the exact location. It took us into a wooded (best term I can think of, unpaved path leading through sparse trees) area with a dirt path. We had to go in the the opposite direction it was pointing us, up the steps towards the Monaco restaurant. Worth a visit if you have time to kill and are in the area. There's a little coffee shop that sells ice cream in the basement of the building nearby that was...
