We went on the 20 minutes flight with HeliDubai. It was the first ever Helicopter flight for the both of us so we didn't really know what to expect. Upon arrival a shuttle bus was waiting in front of the Police Academy and then took us inside. The registration was quick and easy as they just needed the passports (wich are very important to bring due to security check up). After waiting for just a few minutes we were brought into a separate room to check your weight for weight distribution inside the helicopter. Afterwards we were shown a very good and informative 6 minute safety instruction video. Shortly after it was time for the flight. The pilot took us around Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah before taking a quick swing around Burj al Arab and flying off to Dubai downtown. There we flew across the skyline, over The Frame and then the Creek with the Souks. After going for a trip to The World we headed back into the station. This was all commented on the go by the pilot so we always knew what we were looking at and he also knew some facts we otherwise would've never got to know. All in all was this a very special memory as we got to see this amazing city from a totally different angle. We felt quite safe all the time as we were always guided by the amazing staff of HeliDubai. Would highly recommend this experience if you ever get the chance to.
