Extremely Disappointed. As a lover of Lebanese food, and the 4 star rating at the time showing on google, I was very much looking forward to the food. I would not unfortunately recommend this place to people who know the usal high quality and fresh standard of Lebanese food. Starters, the humous wasn’t great, the tabbouleh ok. However, when the main corse arrived I was shocked that they would even put this in front of any customer. Burnt flat bread and chips pilled on top off small pieces of under cooked chicken taouk, with a burnt onion on the side. I asked the waiter if this was normal here and he said yes.. ‘the bread is like this because it’s grilled’ I was talking about the general presentation which he replied ‘it tastes fine’.. I had to explain food is about ‘look’ ‘smell’ and ‘taste’ and this is extremely disappointing for Lebanese food. Why were the fries dumped on top on the rest of the main corse with burnt bread I asked. He took it back to the kitchen and came back with something slightly better I thought until I cut into the chicken cubes and found they were under cooked in parts with pink raw meat... if you like sparkling water then maybe stop by here for a glass and move on for a meal else where.

Update: I went to the restaurant after reporting the below issue and the manager Zied was well aware about the problem. He made sure that the service and food was much better this time. Thank you Raafat, Layla for ever smiling faces and good service. 🫡 Al Hallab has always been one of our favorite go-to restaurants, thanks to servers like Hady and Remzi, who genuinely cared about creating a great dining experience. 😭 Unfortunately, this time was a complete letdown. The server got our order wrong in the first place and seemed confused when we explained that we wanted a sandwich instead of a full portion for shish tawook. Despite our efforts to get their attention, the staff blatantly ignored us, leaving us frustrated and feeling unwelcome. Eventually, it was the manager who brought us the bill after trying multiple times to get the servers to get us bill. 🤐 It’s disappointing to see such a decline in service from a place we used to trust and enjoy so much. Our last home delivery order was also sad, but we brushed it off as a one-off scenario. We really hope nothing has changed for the worse. *fingers crossed*🤞

Al Hallab Restaurant at Mall of the Emirates is a great place to enjoy delicious Lebanese cuisine. The restaurant's ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff are friendly and attentive. One dish that stands out is the lamb chops, which are cooked to perfection and served with crispy fries and a flavorful garlic sauce. The meat is juicy and tender, and the seasoning is just right. The fries are crispy and delicious, and the garlic sauce adds a nice tangy flavor that complements the lamb chops well. In addition to the lamb chops, Al Hallab offers a variety of other Lebanese dishes, including mezze, grilled meats, and seafood. Vegetarian options are also available. The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone. Overall, I would highly recommend Al Hallab Restaurant at Mall of the Emirates for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Lebanese food in a welcoming and comfortable environment. The lamb chops are definitely worth trying, and the friendly staff and great service only add to the dining experience.

I wanted to share my excellent feedback & for the amazing lunch I had in (Al Hallab Restaurant - Mall of The Emirates Branch - 1st Level floor)

I always take lunch outside with my son in the weekends to enjoy the relaxing day off and today was in (Al Hallab Restaurant)with the amazing delicious Lebanese Food / fresh cookings on the spot.

The Only special thing in Al Hallab restaurant that the staff are so special & very polite , they are smiling in your face with very nice welcoming , I ordered through the wonderful restaurant waiter (Mr.Majd & Mr.Osama).

Additionally, Mr.Basheer Amer (The restaurant Manager) accommodated me and my son immediately and didn’t keep me waiting for my health issue and he was very amazing person to help me out for not waiting the long queue.

Mr.Basheer is outstanding member in Al Hallab for more than 20 years now and he knows how to satisfy his customers and to make them happy during their dining experience that you can really enjoy & trust that you will eat delicious food as you exactly ordered without any mistakes or to return the food back to kitchen.

The chef of Al Hallab restaurant specially in Mall of the Emirates Branch is outstanding and bringing the food so hot and fresh with very fresh ingredients & fresh vegetables for salad , don’t miss the Fatuous salad with very very fresh substances. Thanks a lot to the main chef.

Mr.Majd & Osman (the two waiter who helped me to choose the food) are really professional knowing all the items in the menu to explain to you everything in details. They took care of my order with perfect service and selections and perfect portions , thanks a Mr.Majd & Mr.Osama for the amazing smile all the time and your professional hard working to serve your customers.

The staff also are amazing and they are took care of my order very well and treated me in a very elegant way.

Special Thanks to Mr.Basheer Amer again (The Restaurant Manager) whom was checking on our tables all the time and gave us really good happy time during my lunch , Mr.Basheer checking all the tables not only us and it was really impressed.

Mr.Basheer is a very pleasant and respectful person that deserves honor and appreciation from management.

Thanks , Mrs.Reham & my son...

This place went downhill!

I’m a regular customer of this restaurant ever since it opened but unfortunately my last visit will be the last visit.

Food quality decreased in an alarming level the food is so tasteless and feels frozen nothing tastes fresh at all. The hummus is by far the worst hummus I’ve ever tasted, the Tawook tasted like it was in the fridge then out of the fridge then agin in the fridge and the story continues..!

I’m really worried about this restaurant being previously a regular for years. They are not keeping up with the new restaurants at all I felt like they are operating blindly.

Prices are very expensive compared to the value of food offered. It’s so expensive it makes you feel that going to the Cheesecake Factory instead would’ve saved you some money. A Tawook platter is priced at 45 AED with 8 pieces of tasteless Tawooks, other restaurants are offering 14 and 16 pieces of Tawook for the same price it’s unbelievable!!

This comment can drag to become a blog because it’s so sad what this restaurant is doing after years and years of operation here.

I will end my review with a last note: For God Sakes please change the fabric of the chairs it looks disgusting “I officially offer to change it for you it won’t cost you a cow!!” It’s so disrespectful to expect customers to sit on such disgusting chairs full of stains ... ok I’m done I need to do something else to forget about this...
