The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, the colours flow perfectly giving it a feeling of sereneness. There are three areas, the main dining area, the bar area (fully licenced) and a small outside area which is in the Mall space but its a quiet, handy area for meetings. The menu is varied with a good choice of starters and speciality dishes. The starter menu of course boasted a traditional French onion soup, will try that next time. For those of you with a more adventurous palette you might want to try the frogs’ legs. The specilaities section, which is where we ordered from today offers everything from roasted chicken to the St Tropez burger. Their From the Grill section has a good selection of steaks with a selection of sauces and sides. Today I went for one of my all time favourites, yes the salmon; Scottish salmon fillet with sauteed seasonal vegetables and lemon butter sauce. The fish was cooked to perfection, the skin was perfectly crisp whilst the salmon flesh just fell apart, the lemon butter sauce made it even more special! My guest opted for the rack of lamb; succulent New Zealand lamb with Dauphinoise potatoes and rosemary jus. A beautifully presented dish, meat was tender, no complaints all round. St Tropez Bistro offers a more sophisticated dining experience than most outlets that are found in a Mall. It has an exclusive feel, yet extremely relaxed A great place to enjoy a glass of vino after some stressful shopping. The staff who are European are attentive not intrusive, all in all a great...
Read moreFood is good but I wouldn’t recommend based on their customer service.
The Asian girl that served us was arrogant. • I didn’t want any sides, she put on some drama and acted like we did something wrong • when we were ordering, we didn’t feel welcome at all, the way she looks at you was like I’m better than you • my friend ordered fries as a side, but she put on mash potato. When they delivered the dish and we told them it was not mash potato that we ordered, she said “you ordered mash potato.” No apologies at all - but my friend was nice so he took the mash potatoes anyway and then ordered fries.
Another girl was clearing our plates and she accidentally dropped my straw to the floor and no apologies again and didn’t even offer to give me a replacement straw…. Basically she acted like nothing happened….Even though there were still drinks inside my glass…..
CANT BELIEVE we paid almost 1000AED and got this kind of service. We regret not asking them to remove the...
Read moreI used to go to the restaurant many years ago at the aviation club then when the bistro opened at Mall of the Emirates, I started to go there. I now only visit Dubai, but revisiting San Tropez bistro is an absolute must for a culinary gastronomical delight each time.
I am happy to say that the quality of each and every dish is still outstanding at this lovely restaurant if you like a good piece of steak this really is one of the places you must visit if you are in Mall of the Emirates.
The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and it is the kind of place where you can socialize and hear each other instead of having to shout over background noise.
They do have a separate bar where I believe you can smoke if you are a smoker.
I lived in Dubai for many many years and this is still one of my favorite places to eat, even with all the thousands of choices of restaurants available there nowadays.
Thank you St Tropez for still being there & remaining...
