Centrally located in Ashford this hotel is brilliant for an individual/group that are looking for a place to stay and the hotel is also kid friendly and very welcoming. Close to main road but can't hear any traffic at all The rooms themselves are pretty good other than the obvious thick dust that was collecting above the photo frames, tv cabinet and the skirting board. It didn’t bother us too much but if you do have an allergy or sensitivity to dust/dust mites it may be worth double checking that the room has been properly checked over. Also if it's hot 18degrees+ the lobby for the lift to go downstairs can become overbearingly hot whilst waiting for the lift although there is Aircon&heating in the room there is no air con on the landing near the lifts. Breakfast was brilliant and food choice and quality was uncomplainable.- cereal, cooked breakfast, toast, croissants, fruit, apple&orange juice It was help yourself from 6am until 9am. We requested a room with a crib/child cot so we’re upgraded but a crib/cot was never seen even after asking again later in the evening. All in all I would stay here again and probably regularly, It is just a shame that certain details seem to be missed that takes this from a five star down to a four star review. Staff are polite and courteous. Downstairs has a gym and toilets the lounge/reception area at the back (away from food&people) this was clean and often was cleaned almost straight after people had finished and left. You will need to book parking in advance. We took the risk and got lucky but before check out they had no parking spaces available so if we decided we wanted an extra night we wouldn't of been able to park. Parking is £12.50 pay within 15minutes (at reception) otherwise you risk being fined. This is in a convenient location. It's about 2minutes walk to Ashford international fast services to Dover/euro tunnel or a 5minute walk to the other side for trains to Hastings/Ramsgate/Folkestone or London.

I have stayed a couple of times at this hotel for business as it is handily located by International Station in Ashford. The hotel is a large modern hotel with recent and well kept decor. The rooms seem to be recently refurbished and look stunning to walk in to. They have a fridge, plug sockets with USB and a handy work desk. The bathrooms are excellent, modern and spotlessly clean. The free WiFi is easy to connect to and reasonably quick for public WiFi at about 40mbps, so is capable of reasonable streaming. The breakfast is a well appointed buffet with a range of Full English items, continental cheeses and fruit plus pastries and a waffle making machine. Coffee and juices are self service from machines too. I like that it starts at 06:00 so that those needing to go to work early can still have a breakfast, which is included in the room rate. I would recommend booking car parking in advance as it is small (and not cheap) so could be full if you arrive without booking. A few negatives. I found the bed really hard but the pillows ultra soft. Not to my comfort. If you have a room at the front of the hotel, the road has a really busy junction right outside the window which is noisy even in the night. Finally, there is some sort of fire detector on the ceiling in the room which periodically flashes quite brightly so when you’re in the dark it looked like lightening waking me up.

Stayed for X2 nights a couple of days after the hotel first opened. Nice quiet room overlooking the International Passenger station. Quite impressive for a shipping container. Some nice touches with the Smeg fridge, large screen TV, safe & funky air conditioning unit that actually worked!!! You can only access the rooms by the X2 lifts but x1 lift was not working which made things difficult as COVID wary guests are reluctant to share a lift with strangers. This led to queues at peak times. You can't access the stairs from reception or bar area so you are totally reliant on the lifts working. Had a couple of minor teething problems at reception, bar area with staff still waiting on "logins" to use the tills but should be sorted by now. Staff were friendly and numerous. Shame they have to wear that gaudy uniform!!! Breakfast was average but had plenty of choice. Why do hotels water down the orange juice??? It's a quid to buy 10 yards down the road!!! Parking is poor with limited spaces & a charge of £13 a day. Lucky I'm local & know where to park off street for free. Hotel is in a great location if the Eurostar ever decides to stop in Ashford again. Also close to the Curious Brewery & McArthur Glen outlet village. Got a good deal on the room at £70 per night. Would I pay £107? Probably not. 4 out of 5 from me

While visiting Rye and Cambersands, we decided to stay at Ashford and we discover this hidden gem. Hotel is brand new and extremely well furnished with modern fittings and fluffy pillows. Air conditioning worked like a charm. Service staff are super friendly and attentive !! Rachel and Arshad plus team were just amazing. Impressed how they got a new crew working so well together given they were only opened for 3 days !! Breakfast was amazing especially the make your own waffles ;-) they also sorted out my super complex reservations for 3-4 rooms over the 2 days and make it seamless. Any other hotel it would have been a mess. Thank you for taking care us A close walk to outlet mall was a treat for shoppers looking for a bargain. Mall just recently had a major extension hence loads more shops to visit. Wife loved it !! We went back 3 times !! We found amazing street food at The Yard and Hothouse at The Coachworks just 5mins walk with Woodfire pizza, American ribs, Tacos and many more. I would avoid Everest Inn (Nepal&Indian cuisine) super long wait and expensive… and not authentic .. shame. Definitely be back to stay at hotel when we visit next.

Upon arrival, the lobby was very tidy, and we were greeted warmly by staff. We'd pre-booked and paid online, but were surprised by an additional £50 deposit request. This was refunded within a week, so it wasn’t a major issue. The room was clean, the hotel was peaceful, and we had a very comfortable night’s sleep. We appreciated having a fridge in the room, which was a nice touch. Location is only a couple of minutes walk from the train station. However, I was disappointed with the hotel's handling of allergen information. As someone with coeliac disease, having clear allergen information is a necessity. I was informed that the only safe hot item was sausages, and that baked beans contained cornflour (which isn’t gluten), making them unsafe. This lack of knowledge from the kitchen staff was concerning, they were clueless. Additionally, they did not offer gluten-free cereal or other sweet breakfast treats, citing low demand and short shelf life-span as reasons. I was shocked as I’ve stayed at far more budget hotels which were a lot more accommodating.

Underwhelming experience . The staff are generally polite and the breakfast was good however 1. The toilet was really dirty in our 3rd floor room and the whole corridor had a faint bad smell .Pls see attached pic of toilet. 2. Unfortunately we were not aware of the restricted parking hence we had to park a.mile away. On check out the manager Manaswini was unhelpful with this feedback. We tried to explain that this was a customer touch point which needed to be reviewed especially as another family complained of exactly the same thing the same time we were there . Her words were " its only 2 of you who have complained out of the 140 guests in here". She kept saying her system gave the relevant parking information ( £12.50 a night and needs to be prebooked). however when she looked through my booking on my phone She did not see it. I wonder how I as the customer will have access to her information on her system.Very unprofessional! We will definitely not be returning . Very underwhelming and bristly experience
