Brilliant way to sight see around Bristol, did the cream tea cruise. Well worth the money you get tea and coffee which is included in the price you pay, a Scone each with clotted cream and Jam along with strawberries and a couple of small cake slices to eat while taking in the views. There is a bar on board where you can purchase Alcholic and soft drinks (not included in the price of the cream tea) Was a lovely chilled couple of hours seeing the sights you even get some commentary from the captain of the local history. Crew were great and helpful, i would recommend for anyone visting Bristol.

There was hen party group of 10 of us that booked the Hydrogenesis boat for a 2 hour trip. Joe our captain was very friendly and calm mannered. He talked us through sites and gave us options to choose from for our pub stop. The boat was lovely and clean and we had prosecco and snacks waiting when we boarded. There was also the option to close the covers on the boat, as the weather was very mixed. Luckily the sun came out for our final leg of the trip! We were also able to link up our own music, so we had a good sing and boogie on board. Overall a great trip which the whole party enjoyed!

I had a wonderful time on the Bristol packet boat trip with my family. The boat was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The live guide explanation was very informative and engaging, covering the history and culture of Bristol and its harbour. My kids loved seeing the sights and learning about the different ships and buildings along the way. They also enjoyed the snacks and drinks provided on board. It was a fun and educational experience for all of us. I highly recommend this boat trip to anyone visiting Bristol.

I booked a boat trip for myself and 4 friends. We had seen the boat the day before and thought it would be a way of seeing more of Bristol and learning some history. The day I booked it was raining, web site stated trips FULL apart from14.00 so I booked the trip. I recieved a reminder via txt to attend. We took a taxi to the boat checked with the office in the harbour if trip still running as so wet. "Yes" we were told and we would be under cover. We retreated to the coffee shop to wait, whilst there I had a phone call to say trip cancelled. We went to office to ask why they said the skipper was not available. We were refunded but felt we could have been offered a trip the following day with maybe 1 free ticket. We had paid out for a taxi to get there, having received a txt to attend. We think that the earlier trips were not full and that due to the bad weather there were not enough bookings for our trip to go ahead, we felt let down by...

Did the Avon Gorge Cruise. Absolutely brilliant - loved it. Well organised, not overcrowded and able to sit for the journey but also able to stand to take (many!) photos. Commentary was excellent. Hot and cold drinks available on board and a few alcohol drinks too. Some snacks also. Although it was enclosed on the boat for the start of the season, you'll still need a coat as it gets chilly. Access on/off the boat is via steps down the side of the harbour and then a few very steep steps on to the boat so you need to be steady on your legs. Not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs. I would also say not suitable for children under about 6 years as it is about 3 hours long and they would get bored. The scenery is wonderful and that coupled with history makes it a very enjoyable activity and you won't be disappointed. Recommend Bristol...

I was a bit disappointed by our trip. Booked to do the Sunday drinks trip to Beesee’s. The boat we were put on wasn’t the same one advertised on the website - although that one was moored up next to it, so not sure why we didn’t get to go on that one. The boat we ended up on was enclosed so you couldn’t really see the river very well and seating was such that people had to have their back to the windows. Also I read there was supposed to be commentary but there wasn’t any. Only 45 mins at the pub and the que to get a drink was long so it was quite rushed. Overall an okay experience, but not...
