We dined with friends on Friday evening and the restaurant was quiet, the setting by the harbourside offers beautiful views and the interior is well decorated. Great for a celebration, or a comfortable outing. We had a 50% off food coupon put to good use with a couple small plates, a platter, a main course for everyone and a few desserts. The food was very tasty, albeit one of the steaks was a little overcooked. I had the vegan sticky toffee pudding which didn't quite hit the spot, but overall the food was very good, and everyone was satisfied. The highlight of our experience was the waiter, David, who was affable, charming and attentive. Everyone was very impressed with him, so thank you! I'm sure we will return one day!

We had a lovely meal here this evening! The staff were friendly and very professional - especially David our server. Likewise, the atmosphere was superb paired with the brilliant, serene views. We had steaks both cooked medium rare which were very pleasant. The wine was also delicious. The menu was small but seemed well picked with tasty flavours and an array of choices that would please almost anyone. Will be recommending to friends and family!

Lovely evening on the waterfront, great food at new spot right on the river. Came for dinner on Thursday night, nice selection of sharing plates and boards, lots of local sourcing. Coffee was great and nice drinks list. Team all very friendly. Think this will be a busy spot for drinks & food in the summer! It is a cafe in the day open for breakfats and lunch- will be going back to try these soon

Honestly, what a fantastic day! I spent a full day exploring Brunel's SS Great Britain, and the whole experience was just spectacular from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming—you really felt like you were stepping back in time, not just visiting a museum.

The tour itself was so well-done. Our guide was brilliant, sharing all these fascinating stories and making the history feel completely alive. It wasn't just dry facts; they were genuinely enthusiastic, and it really brought the ship and its incredible journey to life. I learned so much, and honestly, the sheer scale of the ship is just breathtaking. Going beneath the waterline to see the hull and the dry dock is a truly unique experience you won't get anywhere else.

We stopped for lunch, and the food and drinks were amazingly good! Way above your usual tourist attraction standard. Everything was fresh, tasty, and served with a smile. It was the perfect pit-stop to recharge before diving back into the exhibits.

And speaking of smiles, the staff deserve a massive shout-out. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and clearly proud of where they work. They made the whole day feel easy and enjoyable. Plus, the site itself was spotless—so clean and tidy everywhere, which just adds to the feeling of a well-run, professional operation.

The whole day was just a fantastic experience. It’s an absolute must-do if you’re in Bristol. I’m already planning my next trip back because there’s so much to see, and I just know I’ll spot something new. Highly,...

Confusing! Friendly and attentive staff, nice location and view but the food was lacking.

The menu and each dish felt incoherent; we had a small plate each and the fish sharing platter. The small plates were simple and some of them didn't fit with the rest of the menu. The fish platter was very salty (even the lettuce, which was also burnt for some reason) and came with way too many fried capers and not much fish. The portions were a little small for the price, but we had a 50% off voucher which made it good value.

The staff were very friendly, attentive and took care of us. The atmosphere and service were good overall, hopefully they will find their feet...
