Came here for brunch while on a 2-day trip to Bristol. I had "The Vegan Boss" and the person I was with sensibly opted for the more modest "The Vegan" (both English Breakfast menu items). With our breakfasts we had two decent oat milk lattes. The food items we ordered were almost identical apart from that the Boss version was much bigger and came with kale. "The Vegan Boss" is very big and in hindsight I would have gotten The Vegan as that would have been plenty big enough for me. Fortunately though, the food was delicious so I could make room for it all. A plus of ordering big and eating late was that we didn't need lunch so could spend more time exploring Bristol. My only complaint with my meal was that it was not as hot as I would have liked, but overall, it was pretty good.

Best breakfast outside of Boston .... Amazing staff ... Super yum portions and of course the hash browns. Would drive to Bristol just for that.

so good i transcended into a poet Crisp and golden, tender heart, Sizzling in the pan, a work of art. Shredded whispers, fried delight, A morning magic, crispy bite. Oh hash brown, simple and divine, A humble treat, a perfect sign Of comfort on a plate, so warm, Your crunchy edges, soft and calm. With buttered warmth or doused in spice, You’re the breakfast joy, so nice. Eggs and bacon stand in line, But you, dear hash brown, truly shine. Golden curls, a perfect shape, In the quiet morning, you escape The ordinary, with every taste, A simple pleasure, never to waste. So here’s to you, crisp and grand, A golden joy from breakfast’s hand. Hash brown, you are the start of dreams, In your crispy crunch, morning gleams. #ļøāƒ£šŸ¤Ž4 life

I had the Super Salad... I got a teaspoon size mango, a teaspoon size avocado, 4 nuts, three shreds of a carrot and a mountain of soaked rocket leaves. It was ridiculous. I was there on an event and couldn't interrupt the performance to talk to the grumpy staff who were very slow and didn't want to serve at the bar. Also, this salad cost them a maximum of £1.05 to make, since they had split one avocado between all their customers on a Friday night, one carrot for all week and one mango for three days' orders of this weak, wet super-fake salad. As for the mountain of rocket, I should have taken a bag of rocket from Morrissons with me, it cost 0.99. What was the fuss all about, we are not sheep, we don't go to a cafe on a Friday night to eat a plate of leaves!! So not sure what the stinginess is about, but it was a waste of a salad, a waste of money. There are plenty of nice places with cheerful staff and a good salad to enjoy, which 'would be sprinkled with a few leaves' and full of the ingredients that are listed on the menu!! Avoid eating at this cafe for good. Their reputation is built on superficial leaf...

It is ok and has an extensive menu to choose from. All food on the menu is served all day so if you fancy a fry up for lunch you could have it.

There is a vibe to this place, relaxed and chill which is reflected in the menu so would be a good place to go if you have a group where everyone has really different dietary needs or preferences. Staff, professional and polite and happy to serve & pricing reasonable for what is on offer and location.

My score is in relation to the environment, dogs are allowed in dining area which isn't my preference unless they are working dogs - not all people are comfortable around dogs & although this one was cute in his little jumper and coming over to everyone jumping up at the table it just made me feel uncomfortable.

There is a toilet on site within the basement, you walk past the kitchen to get to them so you can see the hustle and bustle of the busy team. Its very basic & it may be that not all customers are respectful of the facilities as it's a bit rough and ready. It's useable,...

Really not happy, which is surprising for a place I frequent very often and normally am extremely happy with. Waited 40 minutes for food, when my partner went to check where it was it was sat on the kitchen pass. I ordered the salmon with scrambled eggs and avocado. Regarding my toast, one piece (coincidentally the one on top) was absolutely fine while the bottom piece was burnt. When we called over a server to report he said he would report to his manager. The manager (Joe) came over and after explaining the issue, patronisingly says ā€œwell you’ve eaten half of itā€... well yes, because the first piece was fine. Not to mention the avocado was pretty hard and it came with an abnormally small portion of salmon, but I didn’t even get chance to report this as he stormed off. Just a bit disappointing really, won’t be returning...
