Taka Taka — Restaurant in Bristol

We Ordered a family meal via Uber Eats this evening. We waited for delivery & watched the web site. After 45 mins or so it said food was delivered which it wasn't. Uber also said the driver had called me which he didn't as I had my phone on me. Not sure why they'd say this if there was no issue with the delivery. Typical Uber F up and as usual no one to speak to - just the automated 'issue' form. However, I checked my receipt & our food was allegedly picked up from Clifton Taka Taka so we rang them. The first person answered and after trying to explain the situation he said there were no orders and we must have used another Taka Taka. After we said your address is on the receipt he kindly hung up on us. We rang back again and spoke to a lady who was somewhat more pleasant but again said you probably ordered it elsewhere and then just said it's an Uber problem. So, whilst their food is very nice (we only know this from a previous order) their Service this evening has been utterly rubbish. Hanging up on a Customer because you can't be arsed to help sort out the issue i.e. they would know what order they'd cooked and whether a driver had collected it. So, we won't be using them...

Be cautious if you visit this store in a rainy day! Around one hour ago I fell down once walked in the store due to the wet, oily and slippery floor on a rainy day. I noticed that there were not enough rugs on the floor, and the yellow warning sign was not very visible.

I was wearing Fila sneakers which are slip-resistant. Despite this, I still fell down, and though one of the staff members helped me up, they did not do much to clean the floor after the incident.

I understand that accidents can happen, but I was disappointed that there was not enough effort to ensure the safety of customers, especially during inclement weather. If needed, I have the proof of my payment of my food after the incident, the pictures of my white jacket that got dirty by coming into contact with the floor, my knee and jaw which turned (very) red and I believe will soon develop to a bluish tinge. I will never come back to that store. But I hope that this feedback will help every potential costumer to be careful and encourage the management team of this store to take necessary steps to prevent similar accidents...
