A enjoyable relaxing walk around here getting to see the swing bridges the lock and the massive Anchors around the sides there is a green area great for sitting on hot days. There is a carpark here. It's always interesting when something passes through and the bridges swing. It's also interested to see when it's draind out to clear the silt from the bottom.

It was, as advertised, entirely full of water. We met up with the pilot who took us through the lock and down to Portishead there. Lock keepers and bridge operators in the area were all very friendly and helpful. Would float again.

The heart of historic Bristol. It was from here so much - good and bad - happened.

Riverside location which is a 'Mecca' for those who appreciate quality graffiti.
