Craving a sugar rush and a social media moment? Sweet Paradice Desserts delivers on both fronts with its explosion of sweet treats and Insta-worthy flower walls.
Indecision? No problem! Browse the menu in advance for wonders like Fettuccine Crepe and hot-loaded brownies. Plus, there's a page of cookie dough options to satisfy every sweet tooth.
Don't stop at the dough: dive into classic sundaes, stacked pancakes, crepes, and cakes. Wash it down with unique hot drinks like Karak Chai tea, or indulge in a milkshake with your "Jammin'" stack of pancakes.
Quality? Tick! While I need more visits to be a dessert judge, Sweet Paradice offers good ice cream and treats that compete with the best in Edinburgh.
The Vibe: warm pink neon, wholesome service, and a chill atmosphere perfect for a solo treat or a catch-up with friends. Snap a pic by the flower wall and let your followers know you're living your best sugar-coated life.
Heads-up: the paper menus have seen better days, but that just adds to the charm. And while the small shop could get busy, I enjoyed the relaxed pace.
Overall, a sweet success! Whether you're a local student or a visiting foodie, Sweet Paradice deserves a spot on your Edinburgh list. Don't blame me if you end up walking back for a second (or third) helping.
Here's what shines:
Insane variety of desserts: ice cream, cakes, crepes, waffles, cookie dough, and more! Unique hot drinks: Karak Chai tea, Kashmiri Pink, and more. Friendly local service: welcoming and chill vibes. Instagrammable atmosphere: flower wall, pink neon sign, etc.
Things to keep in mind: Bijou shop: may get crowded. Limited staff: don't expect lightning-fast service during peak hours
Overall? It's...

I went to Sweet Paradise Desserts with my children last weekend, expected to just pop in and out however the place left a positive impression.
First the interior is beautifully decorated and has a vibrant welcoming feeling. Teenage daughter was snapping away for social media but managed to stop when menu was presentedā¦.we were stunned at the amazing choices, from cookie dough cheesecake, ice cream nachos and waffle sticks. Staff were excellent at recommendations, this was good for my son (7) who is a fussy eater.
Food took not too long to serve and was beautifully presented (daughter was snapping pictures again š) staff checked in if everything was to requirement and if we needed anything further, we felt very catered to, it was a lovely feeling after a long weekend. Table was promptly cleaned after eating and we had tea/coffees.
We will certainly be back for sonās birthday next month with his friends, it is the service that makes a place stand out and they did a fantastic job of that.
Husband and I have since ordered the banoffee pie on JustEat for a further treatā¦.just donāt tell the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt would be a 5 star review but customer service was not great over the phone. A few weeks ago I ordered cookie dough on uber eats, received the bag which had my order stapled to it, bag was staples shut, but inside was a waffle. I phoned up and was told that the guy on the phone āwatched the cookie dough get made and baggedā and that they āhad not made any waffles in the last hour at allā ! Well I was flabbergasted by this, seen as I had what was very clearly a waffle and not cookie dough in my lap⦠everything got sorted out with Uber, but I was not impressed by the guy on the phone. He put all the blame onto uber (accused the driver of swapping my cookie dough to another order which was a waffle ?? Even though the bag was stapled shut along with my order receiptā¦) and accused me of lying when he claimed no waffles had been made in the past hour⦠mistakes happen, we are human, but please take responsibility and speak to people in the correct tone of voice.
On a positive note, every time my partner and I order we love it (when we get what we orderedā¦) and highly recommend their...
