I visited the Blitz Museum on a Sunday as part of a university project on Coventry Cathedral, and it was an unforgettable experience. Though small and only open on weekends for a few hours, it’s packed with well-preserved WWII memorabilia like ration portions, old currency, army gadgets, and more. Some items you can even touch, which made it really immersive. The museum covers the 1940 bombing of the cathedral, which was exactly what I needed for my research. The staff were friendly, informative, and fun. Plus, trying on army uniforms and taking photos was a great bonus. Free entry, hands-on exhibits, and a lot of heart, highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our visit. Great exhibits from the Second World War with original footage of the blitz and its dreadful impact on the city. The museum guides were knowlegable and we were fortunate to hear some fascinating stories from one of the volunteers who share wuth us some of his memories of life as a child during the blitz. Deeply moving experience, highly recommended.

Brilliant little museum inside the remains of the old cathedral. Adam and the team are amazing and very knowledgeable it's a really good experience and showcases the way people lived through the blitz. It's not huge but I would really recommend stopping by its free admission. It's a touch museum and you're allowed to touch some of the exhibits as well.
