Arrived to see the staff at the front with customers so waited my turn thinking they were being served. Turned out to be the staff members friends who they were chatting to. Music is way too loud for somewhere serving sit down meals, could barely hear the waitress or each other. The service was absolutely horrendous. We were sat in a tiny table in a dark corner. I could barely read the menu or see my food when it arrived. Waitress didn't take the menus off the table after taking our order which seemed weird and on an already small table extremely limiting space wise. Food arrived a good 5 minutes before the drinks, when our drinks did arrive they were just thrown down on the table and the waiter walked off as quickly as possible. Never asked whose drink was whose. We had to grab someone's attention to come clear our plates and ask for the bill. The staff seemed to want us gone as quickly as possible amd to serve other tables. The one next to us got their cocktails before us despite having ordered after us. Clearly they were a priority. I get the place was busy but there is still a standard of service customers should be able to expect as a bare minimum. We were not offered a receipt for our bill which seems standard practice anywhere else. We were practically rushed out the door by staff who, having ignored us the entire time we were there, were now saying goodbye very passive aggressively before we'd even gotten our coats on! And this wasn't the waitress that took our bill before another staff member who passed and wanted us gone!
I will not be back. Food is mediocre, music is obnoxiously loud and the staff are awful. I couldn't wait to leave....
Read moreI cut my thumb due to my bicycle chain coming off, walked in and asked a gentleman at the door about the location of their toilets, he pointed me at the right direction. As I was trying to stem the bleeding by the sinks at gents toilet a member of staff with floral shirt asked if I was okay and needed help, I explained the situation and he asked me to follow him. Gave me 2 plasters and showed me the disabled toilets to clean myself. I was there to meet some colleagues and only 1 turned up. We sat by the bar, had 2 pints of red stripe while watching the bar staff in an amazement, so fast yet, so helpful to one another. We realized that we got stood up by the rest of the colleagues and explained our situation to the gentleman at the door, he let us have a table for 2. The waiting staff were all very pleasant. One name I remember is Jai. The food was adequate, one's used to getting stuffed but this one was adequate, later another colleague joined us. Every member of staff we encountered were friendly and pleasant. Excellent vegetarian option. Would recommend for younger clientele. The place was buzzing! If it's too loud, you are too old! Comes to one's mind. Thank for...
Read moreI had the absolute pleasure of being served by Samira, and I can honestly say she made my dining experience unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and genuine kindness that immediately set the tone for the evening.
Samira was attentive without ever being intrusive—she anticipated what we needed before we even asked, and every recommendation she gave was spot-on. She struck the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness, making us feel both valued and at ease.
What really stood out was her attention to detail. Drinks were always refreshed right on time, dishes arrived exactly as ordered, and she checked in thoughtfully to make sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to find someone who truly loves what they do, but with Samira, it shines through in every interaction.
If I could give more than five stars, I would. Samira turned a simple meal into a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back just to sit in her section again. She’s an...
