I had a terrible experience at this salon. I went in on May 18th for a balayage after a consultation on May 3rd where I mentioned my hair history with box dye and highlights. Despite this, no strand test was done. My stylist, who I later learned was inexperienced, had trouble lifting my hair color. After applying foils and toner, my hair looked almost the same but was severely damaged and patchy and my hair was snapping off.
When I got home, my boyfriend and his mom were shocked at my hair's condition. We returned to the salon, but there was no manager available. A senior stylist confirmed the damage but only offered a temporary toner. They then did a strand test, revealing my hair couldn't handle more bleach.
On May 20th, the manager agreed my hair was patchy but denied any wrongdoing, offering another toner which I declined. Another salon's strand test showed my hair wasn't as damaged as they claimed.
On May 23rd, during another consultation, a senior stylist admitted I should have been offered a treatment, which never happened then later being told I was lying that they had and they have CCTV footage with Volume, but I insisted as I very never offered the “bond pro” treatment, that senior stylist said if she was able to she would give me a refund but she was authorised to.
The manager later denied several of my claims, accused me of lying, and refused a refund. Despite contacting the National Hair and Barbering Federation, which suggested mediation, the salon's service was incompetent, dishonest, and left my hair in terrible condition. I would waste your time or money as Jimmy Chop Chop.

UPDATE: Jimmy chop chop eventually advised we went to mediation through the national hair and beauty federation. I agreed and paid the £12 and have now waited over 7 weeks for them to pay their fee. They have no replied to the mediators calls or emails to which they will no longer get involved due to the salon no cooperating.

I managed to book an appointment with them on Christmas Eve, I was really looking forward to it. As a new mum, this was going to be some really needed 'me' time. Sadly, got a really bad stomach bug, and spent the night from the 23rd to the 24th being sick 🤢. Felt absolutely terrible, not to mention, I definitely was contagious as well. My husband called them and told them I'm ill and cannot make it. I was going to reschedule anyway. But I was too ill to go. Well, they said they will charge me a full amount if I don't show up🤦♀️ I'm not rich and couldn't afford it, so dragged myself out of bed and went in. I was really upset and crying. I told the woman that I was sick all night. She went to speak to someone, another woman showed up and I told her I'm ill and probably contagious, and she said as a good will gesture she will charge me 50%. I told her I'm here now, and can't afford to lose money, so I said do my hair, I'm not paying. She then said, since I was ill and it was Christmas, she will let me off this time. I went home. What an absolute awful customer service. I would gladly reschedule, and would become a regular client, but hey, I now got my appointment booked somewhere else. Also, someone should have told me, that in case I cannot make it, being it illness, accident or anything else, they are going to take full charge. Then I would not have booked in a first place. Read moreI went there back in February and had a terrible experience. My appointment was at 1pm but they first pushed it back 15 minutes, then an hour and then 2 hours and didn’t get me in until 3pm. I asked for the under layer around my ears to be dyed, the girl put the dye in and then left to go do someone else’s hair and I had to have someone else rinse my hair out - she also didn’t dye my roots so the bottom of my hair was orange/yellow and the root was brown. She very roughly dried it and then they had lost my receipt from where I had prepaid and tried telling me that I owe them another £48.
